No love for Murray State in the CS poll? SEMO won’t even be in the top 3 in the OVC pre-season coaches poll. Racers will make believers soon enough.
You aren’t going to get any preseason love when you have done nothing to prove you deserve it.
4 teams in the Southern Conference ranked in the Pre-Season top 25 which was no surprise to me. Appalachian St. ranked 2nd overall followed by Georgia Southern next ranked 4th overall. Wofford and UT Chattanoga rounded out the top 25 for the Pre-Season Top 25 Poll Wofford is ranked 8th and UT Chattanoga ranked 21st. I believe Georgia Southern and UT Chattanoga are the two challengers in that conference next to Appalachian State. Should be interesting!
Outside the Southern Conference in the FCS Pre-Season top 25 Poll I think Jacksonville State at 11th overall is a team to watch out for along with James Madison at 14th and Villanova at 18th overall! Other then that it I am not sure, Richmond is 12th, but I think the jury is still out on how good they will really be!
Illinois State is going to turn a lot of heads this year. I understand you can’t really rank them high because of years past, but look out for Brock Spack and the Redbirds this year!
Where is Georgia State? There MUST be a mistake with this poll!
GEORGIA SOUTHERN is the ONLY G S U !!!!!!!!!!!
3 Big Sky Teams in the top 10, should be a good battle for the conference title.
Georgia State???? Are you joking? you need to play some good teams and win some before even being considered for any votes. GO GEORGIA SOUTHERN!! GSU returns 21 of 22 starters and almost all of the 2 and 3 deep players.
