Re: Conference by Conference Breakdown (2015) - Week 2
Most Surprising Result: Charleston Southern 16, (FBS) Troy 44 - A playoff hopeful shouldn't even lose to a weak, rebuilding Sun Belt team, much less get thumped.[/list] On the surface this may be true. However, Charleston Southern has had a significant number of players suspended for the first two ...

Re: Charleston Southern's Experienced Trio of 6th Year Playe
You get 4 years to play, but you can also be redshirted, which adds a year (5). Then, you can get a medical redshirt, which would add another year (6).
The greyshirt is a whole different animal and is complicated to explain. Google it. For some, it is also difficult to understand.

Re: QB Austin Brown named to CFPA watch list
Austin could have a HUGE year this year. He had a good year last year in spite of the fact that we had two very good receivers hurt. Our receivers are good and very deep. The depth of our RBs should open opportunities for the passing game and sprinkle in a few to the TEs. I'm real excited for what t...

Coastal Carolina to move to the Sun Belt
Quite frankly, based on Coastal Carolina's and Liberty's obsession with moving up to FBS, I'm surprised this topic has not been posted yet. Two Schools in Talks for Future Sun Belt Conference Membership “I think Eastern Kentucky has been public in declaring their interest in moving up to FBS. I thin...

Charleston Southern. 1. I am an alum, and therefore, a homer. I won't deny it and I'm proud of it. 2. Charleston Southern gets Coastal and Liberty at home this year. It's an odd numbered year. My favorite for the home schedule. 3. There are a number of new recruits (JUCOs and Freshmen) who are talen...

Re: Charleston Southern Buccaneers 2015 Schedule
There are really only two auto-losses on this entire schedule: CCU and Alabama. CCU, an "auto-loss?" Not hardly. Yes, aside from Alabama, they are the next biggest challenge. However, the last time they came to Charleston, we beat them. It is a rivalry game and anything can happen. The la...

Re: Charleston Southern Buccaneers 2015 Schedule
Troy State might actually be a winnable game (though not a guaranteed win); at least, it's not an auto-loss in my book. The last time we played a Sun Belt Conference team, it worked out pretty well for us. We beat App. St. in Boone. No big deal. The Sun Belt Conference is a joke of an FBS conferenc...

Re: Charleston Southern Buccaneers 2015 Schedule
LIBERTY is your homecoming game? :lmao: I would classify Liberty as a PROBABLE loss for CSU, not an auto-loss. Why is that a problem? We beat Liberty in Lynchburg last year. No big deal.
