Per MLB, the Orioles have a Blutarsky-like 0.0% chance of making the playoffs this year. Understandably, Baltimore fans are not thrilled with that conclusion....

Pretty fast for a white guy huh JSO? There are fast white guys. It's just that black guys are faster on average. And of course when get to really elite speed the people in that category are way disproportionately black guys. But Orgeron is a bit more athletic than I realized he was. Not just that r...

Re: Big Sky Fall 2021 schedule

I'm not a fan of a bye week that early. One thing that this conference schedule misses is OOC scheduling. I just saw a post on SacBuzz from a week or so ago (I missed my weekly Internet access last week) indicating that we just signed a home-and-home contract with UNI for 21/22. I like that we get t...

I've never liked the idea of mid-season firings, even in leagues like the NBA and MLB that have long seasons. It's rare that shakeups like that do any good, and they often do more harm than anything else....

Re: Who is Your Super Bowl Winner?

About the only thing I'm hoping for from the Bucs is that they'll wear the throwback puke-orange uniforms with that swashbuckler on the helmet. I highly doubt that they'll do so, however. That said, while I'm normally for the old guy, there's something about the arrogance of Tom Brady that I just ca...

New SecDef

I don't know much about him, though he does have a good pedigree as a former COMCENTCOM. I would have been much more likely to choose Michelle Howard, though, simply because I can't stand the Army, and I typically default to the idea that the Navy rules. She's a former COMNAVFOREUR, COMNAVFORAFRICA,...

Is McGregor Done?

Sure, Conor McGregor beat Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone with a move he stole from Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ed Sprinkle, but it sure didn't work against Dustin Poirier the other night, as Poirier literally destroyed McGregor in the second round of a fight the so-called "experts" ...

...that President Biden has already had articles of impeachment filed on him? Even from a conservative point of view, he hasn't had time to screw up THAT bad. Re: Montana’s, PSU opt out of Spring conference schedule

SD makes a lot of sense here. Per the NCAA edict, you can't have both a spring game schedule AND traditional "spring ball." While most fans want to see their teams play games, using the time in the spring to install the playbook through "coaching classes" and conducting your two-...

RPI vs. "Regular Polls"

I'm not sure why (other than possibly straight SOS), but 4-3 UOP is listed #1 in the RPI Poll (per the UOP fan board), yet they just dropped from #123 to #150 in the NET Poll, and are nowhere near getting any votes in the AP Poll or the Coaches Poll, while conference mate Gonzaga is #1 in AP/Coaches...
