The Temple sideline looks like they're about ready to roll over. Villanova looks like the same team as last December. Temple has taken a step back in the last 9 months.

Some FAs get signing bonuses. IIRC Griz safety Anderson got multi-thousand $ signing bonus as a FA with the Vikes. Griz players Harris & Hilliard were in camps all summer before making practice squads so I'm sure they were getting paid something just to have a place to live and something to eat.

There is no downside for App St. The FBS teams under contract aren't going to duck out, FCS teams would love to play in Boone and future unscheduled games won't be more difficult either.
