Re: North Dakota Fires Chris Mussman
Any hire Faison is doing will be open record, he is going by the book. Hook-line-and sinker for all on here.... :coffee: Whether or not Cap'n Cat is full of BS, Klieman is an ideal candidate for the job, both from North Dakota's perspective and from Klieman's perspective if he wishes to move up the...

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
I think the seeding doesn’t matter so long as you can avoid the 7 spot (which will more than likely be a 1st round game against Weber). Everyone besides UM and Weber has shown that they can beat/lose to everyone. I think there is alot of value in getting that #3 seed for the remaining teams. Assumi...

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
MSU just got trounced by ISU, for chrissakes. I know they played us close last game, but I'm really not that worried about them. Bobcats are playing terrible basketball right now. I expect the Griz to handle them, but you just never know in a rivalry game, and in Bozeman to boot. You guys missing W...

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
That win should secure a spot for North Dakota in the conference tournament. Now we need to get a couple road wins at PSU and EWU. Our final game at home against SUU could have alot of impact on the seedings after UM and Weber. Read that Ward is out for Montana for a while. That is significant. Look...

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
I know that Eastern Washington plays pretty well at home, but I was surprised to see them beat Montana St. Seems like the Bobcats are nearly as inconsistent as North Dakota is. If they hadn't fell apart against the Griz and Eagles, they'd have a firm hold on 3rd place right now.

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
This is gonna be a big week in the Big Sky. No kidding! Obviously, Weber v. Montana will be the marquee match-up of the weekend. But alot of separation could also take place amongst the top 4 teams. Or, North Dakota and Montana St. could both get swept this week and fall back to the muddled mess th...

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
I'm having a hard time explaining North Dakota basketball right now. There is oodles of talent on this team, but an injury to a key player to start the season hampered us, and now an ongoing injury to another key player is hampering us. Now we are having eligibility issues with two guys that figured...

Northern Colorado looked O.K. against Montana this past weekend for 2 1/2 quarters..................... Which team is playing worse right now? John L. Smith's Razorbacks, or John L. Re: EASTERN WASHINGTON BEATS MONTANA STATE! TRUE OR FALSE?
Should be pretty close............... Despite the fact that I've been on the Montana St. bandwagon for a couple years now, I'm going with EWU. MSU didn't look like the #2 team in the nation last week in Davis, CA. They tend to fold in big games, ala 2011 vs. the Griz, and 2010 vs. Fargo................

NAU at UND---The Lumberjacks had momentum going in to their bye week last week while UND got a rude welcome at Eastern Washington. Bye weeks can sometimes kill momentum and UND's dome is not too kind towards the visitors...UND 34, NAU 32. Hope you are right on North Dakota- Northern Arizona...........

6. North Dakota (7)---This just in, the former Sioux have a potent offense. Combine that with a defense that does just enough and you have a great team. Last week they just fell short to FBS San Diego State. This weekend they start on the road against Sacramento State. Disagree. That defense has do...

NAU @ Montana - Me thinks UM is better than I thought they'd be after all the off-season troubles. Easy win. UNC @ MSU - Still think MSU is best in the conference. Blowout win for the Bobcats. SUU @ PSU - Overhyped SUU meets another good team in their meat-grinder schedule. PSU by 2 scores. UND @ Sa...

Re: Eight Bison football players charged
IMO, this wouldn't be such a big story if Bohl hadn't just weeks ago tossed from the team an oft-injured, likely 3rd string linebacker for being investigated for a Class A misdemeanor. When "stars" like Williams and Ojuri actually get charged with a Class A misdemeanor, they are apparently...

Re: 2012 Big Sky Predictions
Mvem's looks much more reasonable than yours. You have a lot to learn, young tadpole. He has Weber and Davis WAY too high. Cal Poly, Portland St., and North Dakota are WAY too low. Any "poll" that doesn't have Cal Poly in the top 4 is a joke as far as I am concerned. It will be fun ...

Re: 2012 Big Sky Predictions
Surprised this thread hasn't been bumped since April… My predictions: 1. Montana State _______ 7-1 ____ 10-1 _____ They've got the talent, can they sack up when it counts? 2. Eastern Washington __ 7-1 _____ 9-2 _____ If Padron=Mitchell, a somewhat better defense should be the difference 3. Weber St...

I would love to have Idaho back in the Sky, but to accept them without football is a rip. They're smack dab in the Big Sky footprint, so it does Idaho a huge favor to have olympic sports in the Sky but how does the BigSky benefit? Still hoping that their fb team will fail at FBS ball, so we can be ...

Re: BREAKING: Idaho football....
So, the Idaho A.D. says he doesn't expect to be an independent for more than two years. That means in 2015 he expects Idaho to have a conference for football.
Remind me, when do Nevada, Fresno St., and Hawaii have to stop making their installment payments for the exit fees?

your north/south split left out cal davis and cal poly UC Davis and Cal Poly are football affiliates only. Idaho won't be bringing football to the Big Sky. At least not right away. ;) I believe the speculation on potential divisional splits are in reference to the basketball and other olympic sports.

Your team has exactly 5 conference wins since joining in 2006, and 3 of those were against Idaho State. The only sense in which you belong is geographically. :coffee: In general, I agree with you here, GATW, at least in terms of football. But if one takes a wider view, UNC has been a pretty good co...
