Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

SBU is going to have a great chance to win. LU has flipped the switch "off" the past couple weeks. Poor tackling, poor execution on offense. LU is perfectly capable of winning. Just not sure we will. You do remember what happened the last time you said that right? (For the record I do NOT...

Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

Can you put a dome on the stadium and heat it? Thanks. Seriously this should be an Epic game for all the MARBLES! Can't wait. Of course it would be better if you guys went ahead and lost the next 2, but I don't see that one happening. But again, the same thing we can say about Liberty. hehehe. I ac...

Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

I'm still around. The Big South is boring until the showdown on Long Island. Nothing will happen between now and then to change the facts, LU/SBU is the Big South Championship for a trip to the playoffs. And I was positive about our victory and was very happy and surprised with how we played against...

If a 6-5 EWU is going against the Pioneer champ and a second place MEAC team, do they take the Eags then?

Re: Playoff picture clearing up fairly early this year?

The Big South is pretty clear cut, but if LU doesn't run the table, they won't win the conference. The only conceivable loss left is to SBU in NY, and that would give the Seawolves the tiebreaker. But I agree, things are shaping up early. Tough to see where a dark horse could come from. Only issue i...

Coastal within 3 possessions now, still 22 minutes of game time left... LU couldn't possibly lose this, could they?

Liberty Homecoming vs Coastal

Liberty is up 35-0 , halfway through the 2nd quarter.

Totally unexpected result thus far.

Liberty already up 14-0 on CCU.

I really didn't see this coming. CCU with terrible mistakes, LU with very physical, dominating play.

Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

Want a trend? When playing teams at FCS or lower this season... CCU is 4-0, LU is 3-2. Im a stickler for accuracy so unless there was an extra game thrown in that most of us didnt know about, FIFY. Also, other than Furman (who as I said, lost to Samford this past weekend), what meaningful opponents...

Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

As Ive said twice already, if the Liberty team that has routinely curbstomped conference foes when they come into Williams Stadium comes out of that locker room Saturday Well, it won't be, because this is a different team. Show me things from THIS YEAR with THIS TEAM that proves we're going to roll...

Re: The road to the Big South Autobid

As I said TTL, at this point to win the Big South (outright) someone is going to have to win in Lynchburg, and that is something that has not happened (and as I noted above, in most cases, it hasnt even been close) in 5 years. Ranked or not, CCU knows that they have a tall order ahead of them and a...
