Re: JMU at SMU
Hope the Dukes enjoy their cash grab after their buyout. They need a pick-me-up after a rough week.

Vegas is not a believer in us. No surprise there. I consider this a dangerous game for us.

Re: Liberty-CCU Game Moved for TV!
Every LU game is on ESPN3 in just about every sport. But this is obviously a nice step up.
Hopefully the attendance doesn't suffer from moving off the weekend. This should be a huge matchup in Williams Stadium. The last two meetings have been decided by missed kicks to end the game.

Re: The Official Liberty @ Coastal Carolina Thread
The refs completely botched up the entire 4th quarter. The clock should have expired before the FG attempt due to the penalty when they were out of timeouts. Earlier when Liberty missed a FG wide right, CCU clearly jumped offsides and the refs acted like they saw nothing. A quick check of the stats ...

CSU has everyone's attention in the Big South. Incidentally the Big South is above the SoCon in most of the ratings coming out today. That should be no surprise to anyone paying attention the past two years.

Re: Big South Week #7 Predicitions
Another strong day for the league thus far. It is looking like easy wins in this league are becoming tougher to identify.
And I don't care how down App State is these days, beating them was especially sweet for us.

Has the Big South ever before had a time where all its teams won on the same week? 6-for-6 is impressive even with the Sub-DI opponents considering the league' s lousy history.

Re: Chas. South enters the 21st Century
In Missoula you want the afternoon temps to keep you warm. In Charleston, you went the sun down to avoid melting. It makes a great deal of sense to have lights in places like Statesboro, Conway & Charleston. I know down here in Texas they are an absolute must due to the heat.

Re: Coastal beats Montana; Weather not a factor; Bias in pla
I was in Wa-Griz as well that smokey Saturday. Montana was handed that one on a silver platter through 1st half turnovers. Hardly a ringing endorsement of Big Sky football. They gave up over 300+ yards to a freshman making his first ever college start for a team having its worse season in close to a...

Re: Coastal beats Montana; Weather not a factor; Bias in pla
Coastal was made fun of this week by some fans and media, saying the Chants, coming out of a 78 degree day at the airport in Myrtle Beach, SC, would crumble at mighty Montana and the single digit weather. Ha, yeah right. Cold weather isn't nearly as hard as brutal heat, you can warm up and layer up...

Of course the mighty MEAC deserved two teams in.
CCU had all kinds of trouble with both Liberty & CSU. Much less facing the traditional powerhouse.

Re: MVFC got robbed
Maybe if Liberty wanted into the playoffs their AD should have scheduled them some tough football games. Two D2s, plus Morgan St and Monmouth.. so basically 4 cupcake wins and only beat two teams with a winning record. We have to fill in 7 non-conference games every season. Seven! Thankfully your G...

Re: Congrats Liberty/CCU; Big South & Liberty got HOSED
Thanks for thinking of us, bucs90. But we Liberty folks have no one to blame but ourselves. We let big late at ODU and at home vs. Coastal and fell in overtimes in both games. We led into the final minutes at Kent State as well. If we make just one more play in any of those three games we wouldnt be...
