What's the deal with this thread not being at the top of the forum anymore?

The SoCon top to middle is going to be really good, and probably very competitive next year. GSU, ASU, WC will all be very good. Chatty should be a pretty good team. Furman has some talent coming back. Elon has talent coming back, but that was what everyone said about this year. I think these 6 team...

There is some speculation that a replacement might be our DC/Assistant/LB Coach, Jay Bateman. He has previous coaching experience at Siena, and it would keep a lot of continuity, instead of bringing in a whole new staff and new system. Hopefully they get this sorted out soon.

He made great strides in the Elon program over the last few years, and we were able to make our first ever playoff appearance in '09. He took the Elon program from being a really bad team to being a playoff team in 3 years. I hope we can get another good coach.

If the QB is killing them on the field, expect that QB to have to leave the game with either a late or out of bounds hit, normally low around the ankles...

Congrats to DeAndre. He's a good ball player, but I hope he doesn't turn out like AE and beat Elon for the next 3 years. But I wish him the best of luck in his ASU career.

Mariani is a good player, but he needs to get traded to New England. Just imagine Marc Mariani, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, and Danny Woodhead all on the field at the same time.
