Re: Crist: Race Motivates GOP Opposition to Obama
I always knew Jesus was a Donk. :ohno: Christ may have been a Democrat when he was but a poor man, but once he got into the Kingdom of Heaven, as part of an affirmative action play by his father, Christ became a Republican. You can only get into Heaven if you honor God and give a kickback to the ex...

10-0 in the CAA, doing it minus 2 starters suspended for 9 games. Could they make some noise in March with a 1st round upset!! Scared the heck out of Ohio St, Notre Dame & Villanova all on the road & all without their best player - Devon Saddler. Would definitely make some noise with a 1rst...

2011 FDA bans generic albuterol rescue inhalers for asthmatics 2ndary to CFC propellant in inhalers (we're talking life saving medication) because of potential impact on ozone layer from these inhalers :suspicious: They are replaced by 3 expensive branded only albuterol inhalers with different deliv...

I wouldn't change over it, or buy less pizza.

Re: Papa John's founder is a douche!
Look at this thread. One thing is clear - people are opinionated about who makes the best pizza, and where they prefer to get theirs. Would anyone here (or does anyone here know anyone who would) change over 5 cents/pie? Not suggesting that increased costs over covering employees won't hurt some bus...

Was making light, but never happen. They'd have to legislate total caloric intake and regular exercise. Conks may actually have the edge here, if corporations look to save health insurance $$$ by increasing motivation to healthy life styles in their employees. Question is, how far can they push tha...

No Suzy Qs? Not a fan of twinkies, but on a recent food show some southern roadside joint was deep frying them - looked intriguing. As long as the company isn't doing well enough to afford good lobbyists, this stuff is likely doomed at the hands of the donk health food nazis, anyway. It's nutrition...

Have you even seen anyone from the younger generation chewing on a Hostess? Dunkin' Donuts, Tim Horton's, TastyKakes and Entemann's destroy Hostess in the places I frequent. Ohhhh.... sour cream glazed donut from Tim's. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_JbfKdSBkoWQ/TNYiMI8bjvI/AAAAAAAACr4/Iz8Zp44x2Ms/Tim-Deal-...

Re: The Face of the Republican Party
I don't profess to know who Matt Taibbi is, but I stumbled across a blog entry of his. I think it hits well upon the reasons Romney lost the election. The perceived elitist attitude of the Republican Party somehow managed to turn off the majority moderate voters more so than the failures of our cur...

Redistricting continues to be the issue, imo. Regardless of who's in the White House, or what party leaders would like to see, plenty of seatholders in congress have no personal motivation to move to the middle.

Overall worse. Income is up, but I'm working longer days and doing work at home on weekends now, thanks largely to the slowing effect of our shift to computor documentation, and tntc corporate initiatives coming across my desk - many of which are stimulated by the need for increased documentation to...

Chizzang - I understand your amazement at the Congessman's remarks. My advice - get used to it. Polarization and gerrymandering = more districts (red and blue) where candidates needn't worry about moderates to win or retain seats = more wackos on both sides, and I don't see any light at the end of t...

Before they do anything, you would think that failure to retake the White House in the setting of our current economy would prompt some reflection on their part first. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. Then there's the matter of holding onto the House in the first place. Perhaps Sen Mc...
