What is Youngstown State thinking?

This is not about football per se. I just happened to see some highlights of Youngstown State last week. I thought those gosh-awful looking helmets were a one time thing. Then I looked at the helmet project and saw that their current helmet design is what I saw: https://i.ibb.co/0Y8NJvm/Screen-Shot-...

Good set of quarter finals

I think we have a really good set of quarterfinals.

Re: 2023-24 Coaching Change Thread

McNeese opted to keep their head coach after the worst season in program history because the buy out would be too much.

Re: Help me out here

Well, they're rated higher in model power ratings too. Not by much. But rated higher. I continue to think it's sad that the two most prominent HBCU leagues opt out just like I think it's sad that the Ivy opts out. To my knowledge, none of those leagues opt out of any other NCAA tournament. Not bask...

Where is the thread about who's in the playoff field? i know it must be there and I'm not recognizing it.

I wanted to write about how cool it is that the best HBCU is going to be in the playoffs this year instead of in the Celebration Bowl.

Re: Week 3 Score Thread

The offensive play calling was terrible and the execution on both sides of the ball was awful. One of the worst games I have seen the grizzlies play and win. Ferris obviously isn't a typical DII, but this game still didn't change my thinking that the Griz are no better than a playoff bubble team. W...

Re: Week 3 Score Thread

Montana avoids a scalp, beating Ferris State 17-10 The Griz didn't beat Ferris, they beat themselves. Ferris couldn't handle the crowd noise at all , and it ultimately cost them the game. Butler isn't as talented as Ferris, but they handled the intangible/atmospheric stuff in Missoula much better t...

I also think it is a leap to think that finding the substance in the blood at whatever levels they found them at under the circumstances in which they found them means that something really serious happened because the same substance is used to detect likely heart attacks. Nobody in the study suffer...

From the linked study':  Bro. It's not a matter of how "bad" the authors of the study feel the cases are, it's the fact 1 in 35 are showing heart damage on a test they use to assess heart attack damage. 1 in 35 is absolutely unacceptable for a vaccine. You tell all those people "...

1 in 35 had a myocardial injury from the Moderna vaccine. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/ejhf.2978 Been saying troponin tests were what needed to be done to assess vaccine induced heart damage. This is the first I've seen where the women were more affected. Some speculate it's due...

Belmont

Just another nod to Secretariat. A horse named Arcangelo won the Belmont Stakes in a time of 2 minutes, 29.23 seconds today. Secretariat ran it in 2 minutes, 24.00 seconds in 1973. 5.23 seconds faster than today's winner. 50 years ago. He'd have beaten today's Belmont Stakes field as badly as he bea...

Let's see the safety data or shut up. I don't have the raw data but you can look at the reports on the clinical trials for summaries.
