I think it could. There are plenty of eastern teams interested in FBS to be potential candidates.

That is true, we do need an invite, but the resolution said to "explore all opportunities", and I would imagine the WAC would be interested in any school, anywhere, looking to move to FBS at this time for a short term, mutually beneficial partnership.

As a UAB alum, the only way that will happen is if the C-USA falls apart. But yes, Wright Waters would love to have them (along with Jax State after we finish our facility upgrades).

The most likely loss is probably ASU, but even at 9-2, they would still be a #2, maybe #3 seed.
