The StonyBrook Seawolves stayed with Iowa as best we could before going down 75-63 last night. Stonybrook had its best season since joining Div 1 in 1999. Get ready for next year when we should be better .

Stonybrook got to .500 today beating Maine 56-53. The Seawolves are 14-14 and 6-9 in America East play. They finish the regular season next Saturday at home against Albany.

StonyBrook has been mentioned as 13 seed in one of three regionals - Mid West against Syracuse ? West against Arizona or East agianst Louisville. I would take Arizona probably the weakest of the 3. But we have to get ther first -lol

StonyBrook lost a defensive battle at Vermont today 46-43. The Lady Seawolves are 13-13 and 5-8 in America East play. They are home Wednesday against UMBC.

Hope StonyBrook is in the mix. Right now we are in 1st place in the America East at 18-6 and 9-2 AE. Big game Friday night when Vermont visits. A must win for both schools -stay tuned.

Ofiicially announced this morning. They are a D2 upgrade so it will take a few years for them to become competitive in any sport. StonyBrook and Albany were confernce mates of the River Hawks back in our days in D3 but that was eons ago. Know nothing much about them now . Time will tell.

THe Lady Seawolves get a big win tonight at home defeating Binghamton Univ 56-34. They are now 10-6 and 2-1 in America East play. Saturday they are on the road at the Univ. of Hartford. This is their best start in the last 5 seasons.
