I think Sam Houston State, Lehigh and Liberty are the top three. Jacksonville State and Coty Blanchard are nothing to take lightly either.

You know all those teams are hungry for the first real signature win, too. (Sorry SHSU, I'm not counting 0-7 New Mexico.)

So U-Mass isn't eligible for conference play since they are moving to the MAC? From my understanding, wins and losses against UMass will count toward the conference record of CAA teams playing them, but UMass themselves will officially have a 0-0 mark in conference. Indiana St. @ Illinois St. looks to be a game that could have potential playoff implications for a 3rd bid out of the MVFC.

I voted for Liberty/CCU because of the potential playoff implications.

Towson and ODU will still have plenty of chances to prove themselves (or tank), but with the exception of their games against Stony Brook -- I don't see either CCU or Liberty coming real close to losing another game this season.

I agree with you about the field. I too believe that's what the committee will select tomorrow morning. Having said that, I have no clue why the MEAC is getting two bids.
