There's some discussion on the other FCS community that has already gone several pages, includes input on the top teams and thoughts on how things will fall.

The LAX team already incurs travel costs. They played @ Stanford, @ Cal and @ LSU. They also traveled to UNT, Baylor, SMU, & TCU at no expense to the U. That's why they are a MCLA team and the $$$ comes from elsewhere. (team dues and fundraisers). They are already playing Division I in the MCLA...
