Considering how great a game they gave us with such a young team, I'm really happy our game is in Boone next year. IMO, GSU will be back to near-normal in '09.

I think with the playoff expansion next year the Big South is picking up an auto as well. Once Presby gets out of transitional status, they'll have six D-I's in the conference anyway I think.

This is awesome, a FCS team right in my hometown. And yes, GSU is almost entirely commuter students, most of them older, too. They've been trying lately to make it more like "traditional" college, but it's kinda tough being smack dab in the middle of ATL.

Awesome! Hopefully he'll help us nab some recruits up there. Off the top of my head, I don't think we have any players at all from Maryland. Was the dude somehow affiliated with an FCS school or just a new FCS fan?

btw, it's been reported in several different newspapers that this game will be televised nationally on ESPN. I don't know if that is ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, or "the ocho", but it looks to be a definite now that it will be out there somewhere. Everybody around here is pretty excited about it,...
