Cal Poly Takes Pre-Season #20 Ranked Arizona State Into the 4th Quarter tied at 21.. Poly, while using a limited offensive playbook has proven itself as a power after last weeks win at Montana and this solid showing at ASU is further proof that you (almost) never need to throw a football, and can p...

Re: Montana "thing"
Montana had a better GPI, SRS, SOS and overall record than Northern Arizona. (NAU had two byes and didn't have to play the conference champions.) The only advantage NAU had was the head-to-head. By your logic, MSU should have gotten in over NAU and UC Davis should have gotten in over SUU since they...

Re: Would Montana Be Out If...
No conference mates should play each other till the semis anyway. If only. After the First Round Play-ins, etc., I don't think the regional matchups that the NCAA Selection Committee grovels upon will be overlooked anytime soon. Conference members meeting each other starting in the Second Round mig...

If the game was at Grand Forks I'd pick UND over Sacramento State. But otherwise, seems as if I agree with most of the above. EWU should win quite handedly at Weber State, though. At least that's my guess. Main question is whether Northern Colorado is a better team than Drake; if so, boobscats have ...

Interesting that a Shakir Bell plays for Sycamore Sam; a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, if not mistaken, by the way. Just thought I'd mention that.

Re: Cal Poly's 2013 schedule. AWESOME
2013 is a year they allow 12 games. This is the first 12 game schedule Cal Poly has ever had. Helps when you have 8 conference games instead of only 4. I am loving the Big Sky. 'bout time you got into a decent conference; well, since the Griz and you are in it, then it's a decent conference. All el...

Accept the fact that your team is mediocre this year. It'll just make the continual losing that much easier to take. :thumb: :coffee: This isn't about my team. I didn't expect UNI to be a very good team this year. This is about where, and why you think they should be ranked or not ranked. The fact ...

Re: JALMOND's preseason top 25
I think NAU is rated way, way too low, even at this point. They have a tough game 11 Sept vs. Arizona State, granted, but like last year when they started out 5 -2 they can do the same this year until they host MSU 16 Oct. That may be a deciding game covering the rest of the season. They barely lost...

Its not self defense when you drive somewhere to a confrontation. So does that mean that if a friend and/or relative is under attack that you wouldn't come to their aid?..because of some type of misdirected 'self-interest' on your part that says, by inclination, which has no moral content by the wa...

Re: Yet Another Montana "Moving Up" Thread
Well, both the WAC and the MWC have nine teams each, one more makes ten. Not a bad number of teams for a conference that would have nine conference games. Although it would still be five home, four on the road in one year and then four home and five on the road the next, in alternating years. No rea...

Re: Notes from Spring Drills
First off, it's interesting that an FCS team is starting spring football practise this early. Generally, I wouldn't normally consider this the time of year for that, at least, on a national level. I'm under the impression that once March Madness takes place then everybody gravitates to either baseba...
