Assuming it's true that most big financial donors to athletics (including the family that just committed $7 million for the new athletic building project) are supporting Bobby Hauck, doesn't it make sense that those donors would be disappointed (and perhaps more than disappointed) if Hauck was not s...

What is it that proves it, and why? Anyone that believes that 8 of the top 12 teams in the country reside in one conference is delusional. Anyone that believes the Griz would finish 9th in the MFVC is delusional. Anyone that believes Jacksonville State is the 10th best team in the country is delusi...

Re: Jesus, SWAC!
That is a sad and kind of hilarious proposition. The 2014 SWAC Championship Game will now be between #5 vs #8 due to post-season bans. I asked this on AGS a while back. It would have no impact on the SWAC title game. That is put on by the conference and not the NCAA...it's not "post season&quo...

Oh no, a conference that doesn't participate in the playoffs has a bunch of the teams that can't participate in post-season play. Would the ban affect the conference championship game?

Come on now griz fans, you can't suspend a player until the justice system has run it's course....Right? So all arrests should result in suspension? For how long? What if it was a false arrest? What if no charges are filed, or charges are dropped? What if there is evidence of police misconduct? Wha...

Another question: Montana was penalized for many things, including boosters giving free hot dogs to players. were those hot dogs not free to other folks as well? not to be a dick but you know the hot dogs were pretty far down on the list of infractions right? That's not true. You may want to look a...

The faculty at Rutgers have been trying to do away with football for years. No word yet on whether they'll wait until they enter the Big 10 to drop the sport or not. We know how powerful faculty are when it comes to sports decisions. So did elements of the Dartmouth faculty. And Swarthmore's...

I wonder if Mont St fans have been calling or emailing NDSU to complain about or suggest how the university should deal with the players, in terms of suspensions and types of discipline. This is what some Cat fans have done at Montana, when there have been legal issues.

UM had 5 turnovers, and NAU had 0--and UM lost by 10. 4 turnovers in 5 drives, and 5 turnovers in 8 drives. NAU got the ball on the NAU 43, and the UM 20, 22, 24 and 50. NAU deserved to win the game, clobbered UM in the last 2.5 quarters, and it was UM's fault that it had so many turnovers, but to ...

Re: WHY WOULD A FCS TEAM TRYING TO WIN A NC SCHEDULE A D2 TE
Because schedules are often made several years in advance, and sometimes it's hard to find a game for a particular weekend. A D2 can give a team a break to recover from injuries. A D2 helps develop depth and get younger players involved early in the season (and then they are better contributors or w...

No ligament or tendon damage. Note the excellent ball security, as not only does he not fumble, he reaches for his leg with his hand that isn't holding the ball (after he's down on his back). Must be a very tough kid who has been taught never to give up the ball under any circumstances.

I think it was a good article. The griz fan response reminds me of the way most fans for Montana State got when we had our issues about 10 years ago.
