Re: Terps Could Be Forced To Play Towson More...
I'd certainly like to see UGA play Savannah State and soon Georgia State (hopefully KSU and Mercer down the road too) rather than going out of state for a paycheck game, but playing Georgia Southern is just never as pleasant as it should be... either we put "too many" points on 'em or we d...

Re: Future of FCS
Are the Domino's starting to fall? Lots of chatter out there about the Big Ten and Pac 10 expansion. This was in today's USA Today. As a fan of a team in a 12-team conference, the approach just makes sense to me. A conference championship game is going to be crucial to getting a better TV deal next...

Re: How come the NCAA doesn't enforce this?
Why enforce it? What is the NCAA (or these conferences) losing? If the conferences involved don't like splitting their TV money to these schools, they can take steps to kick them out, otherwise I don't think anyone really cares.

Re: Drive Stalled? Hardly. TXST Fueling the Engine
Nice article. I like the fact that TXST is not willing to go independent just to attain FBS "glory" Absolutely the smart choice. I think going independent will be a mistake for UTSA, I sure wouldn't want my team to move up without a conference deal in place if they were in that position (...

Re: Future of FCS
I noticed you didn't mention ASU as a possibility for CUSA. How can a program just beginning its second year and one which is not even in existence yet have a better chance at CUSA than one with a proven history and tradition of ASU? I've read very few ASU fans talking about interest in moving up. ...

Re: What does the next decade hold?
Definitely a possibility if Mizzou and/or Colorado get poached from the Big 12, since geographically they COULD be put in the North division without too much fuss. Otherwise if both of those schools leave you'd realistically have to put the Oklahoma schools in the North division and then come up wit...

Re: BCS Investigation--Ifluence on FCS?
It's not unfair that San Jose State will never play for a championship... in their current state. If they can't get the resources to compete it just won't happen, but they're welcome to spend the big money if they want (once California gets their finances sorted, of course). That said, as a UGA fan ...

Re: Will 2011 decimate the FCS????
I don't see any paradigm shift in how the divisions work if a few teams move up. Most teams just can't, and shouldn't anyway. The big money is never going to go away, and conferences like the WAC and Sun Belt are never going to produce a national champion. However - if you look at the vacancies in u...
