Re: Thursday August 30th Score Thread
2002 McNeese beat UL-Monroe. 2007 McNeese beat UL-Lafayette. 2012 McNeese beat Middle Tenn. Guess it will be 5 more years before we get another Sunbelt team to schedule us again. Dagnabit!

Re: QUESTION???
Agree with Cat Mom that the lack of recent SLC playoff success hurts our AQ. Has any team other than Tx St, Sam and McNeese made a run at least to the semis in the 2000's? I don't recall any.

Re: Week 8 SLC
Hammond has traditionally been a tough place for McNeese to play (5-10). We are also down to our last experienced running back, Andre Anderson, unless Champlain Babin can suit up. Lost a freshman RB (Young) at LSU with a broken leg. Marcus Wiltz has an ACL and is gone. Babin got a concussion against...

Re: Notes from Spring Drills
First off, it's interesting that an FCS team is starting spring football practise this early. Generally, I wouldn't normally consider this the time of year for that, at least, on a national level. I'm under the impression that once March Madness takes place then everybody gravitates to either baseb...

Re: Cal Poly 2010 Signing Class
Slostang, Just suggesting. Don't come to Lake Charles on the Interstate if you really want to see South Louisiana. Take US 90 out of New Orleans, cut across to Thibodaux where Nicholls State is. Keep going to Morgan City where you hit 90 again. All this is 4 lane anyway. MC is a center of the offsho...

Re: Cal Poly 2010 Signing Class
It is kind of hard to compare a city of over a million to a city of ~50,000.. and you're probably right about there being more job opportunities in a city that's 25 times larger.. The question always comes down to- would you rather live dealing with constant traffic jams and more pollution, or woul...

Keep on posting what you want Cat Mom! Slade is from Lake Charles and played at Clemson and McNeese so that will be interesting to us to watch.

Re: DO YOU SECRETLY LIKE AN FCS TEAM OTHER THAN YOU OWN?
I do love Northwestern State except when they play the Cowboys. Other than that I would have to say App State and Cal Poly.

Re: Favorite Marching Bands (not your school)
I'll stick to FCS and say that I haven't seen a lot of FCS bands, but I enjoy the Northwestern State band. Seems to have a really good sound. But, hey, what do I know?

Re: TXST Schedue to be released March 1
Cal Poly will play anyone, anywhere, anytime. Gotta like that. Glad to see Tx St and McNeese schedule them.
189 days to kickoff.
