Re: Stony Brook @ Montana State
Hope our 1st team all american QB playes up to your standards this week. You can watch it on ESPN2 I didn't even realize he's All American. Just heard that he was supposed to be pretty good. So tell me, do YOU think he looked like an All American in that Stony Brook game? Frankly if I was just goin...

Re: #6 EWU @ #2 MSU Game Thread
Just listened to our coaches show. MSU is something like 53% on third down conversions. That's a double sided statistic if I ever saw one. If Adams take care of the ball, I like our chances...even on the road. Special teams may be the difference. Unless MSU still has that really good kicker...

Re: What, no msu vs UC Davis thread?
Dont forget that MSU couldn't hold on to the ball for their life and gave UCD lots of short fields Quit making excuses, the same thing happened in all of our losses. Taking care of the ball is part of playing good football. Kinda like how the griz gave the game up to the Cats in Missoula in 2010, h...

Re: 1,000 and One excuses on Egriz
Of course not. No one ever beats the griz. The griz simply give games to opposing teams on occasion. The 2010 Cats win in Missoula - Cats defense didn't force those fumbles; the RBs simply handed them the ball. :coffee: Just like how the kitties fold and hand over the game when we play in Bozeman. ...

Re: 1,000 and One excuses on Egriz
UM had 5 turnovers, and NAU had 0--and UM lost by 10. 4 turnovers in 5 drives, and 5 turnovers in 8 drives. NAU got the ball on the NAU 43, and the UM 20, 22, 24 and 50. NAU deserved to win the game, clobbered UM in the last 2.5 quarters, and it was UM's fault that it had so many turnovers, but to ...

Appreciate the props, but you should have used a more current highlight reel. :coffee: He subliminally selected a reel from one of the few years UM was beaten. Define "woes". They're certainly "unproven", but in fall scrimmages certainly held their own against their own defense and improved steadily since spring. Definitely some talent in there, but no one will no for certain until the games start next Thursday. A question mark? Defini...

Re: Jordan Johnson Expelled?
Yeah, I guess anything's possible. But that's the point too. Everyone, including Phlugrad in his infamous Jordan Johnson morality speach, want to speak up and stand up for JJ because he's such a great guy. Could be, but 99.999% of the people speaking up for him don't know him beyond seeing him play ...

Re: Jordan Johnson Expelled?
Everyone's making the assumption he was expelled because of the rape allegation. Things might be going to hell in Missoula, but you really think there are that many stupid people at that institute of higher education that would open themselves, the university and the state up to such liability? You ...

Doesn't look like any real new news, just a continuation of everything everyone already knows. I'd have to go with the first one on the list - EWU @ Idaho, though the Eagles beating the Vandals wouldn't exactly be an upset.

So really, so what if it was an over-reaction? Why do you care? You think this is some vast conspiracy to make UM look bad? You think Weber's trying to soak UM for medical bills? What is it? Why do you think an 18 or 19 year old freshman would carry a "faked" injury far enough to be hauled...

I'm sure if it was your 18 or 19 year old son out there, you'd think the same thing. Its only an over-reaction unless you guess wrong and the kid ends up paralyzed.AZGrizFan wrote:Biggest overreaction ever.

Great looking stadium.....shitty looking uniforms. Uniforms were purchased last year and were going to be worn in Missoula for Cat/Griz. Griz decided they didn't want any attention drawn away from their black & pumpkin party, so the gold jerseys weren't used. Worked out OK as a tie in to the an...

Re: BSC Poll: Most important offensive player?
I kind of took the opposite approach with this one. One of the big reasons both MSU and EWU had the success they had last year was because of the depth of their teams. Both DM and BLM are important to their offenses, sure, but both teams are loaded with other offensive talent that can keep their tea...

New seating brings Stadium capacity to 17,000. In the past they have brought in temp bleachers for overflow for big games. I don't know with the new configuration that it will allow for the grounds crew to bring in any more seating for the big games. It definitely gives the stadium an entirely diff...

Re: Did Bitter Montana AD screw over MSU, EWU??
Neither did Delaware. :coffee: Again, you have to look at wins AND loses. Delaware didn't beat any playoff teams, but they lost to two playoff teams by 1 point and in overtime. They also beat several bubble teams. EWU also didn't beat any playoff teams, but they had a major loss to the only playoff...
