Re: Cancel Culture thread

See, y’all are laughing about this shit now, but just you wait.....their time’s a comin’..... It is either laugh or drink, and both my liquor cabinet and fridge are running low after last weekend. I fully expect NDSU to have to change the name of "The Bison" within my lifetime as some tribes consid...

The money went to pay their employees, correct? And those employees were not laid off, correct? And if they had they would've been eligible for unemployment, correct? I could be wrong on these, so please let me know if so. Do you really think people at many of these organizations would have been la...

Re: What will happen with the 2020 college football season?

Got my season ticket notice in the mail. Going the iphone/google pay route, which them claim to be touchless. The ticket scanners always end up touching the phones anyway. JMU for the last doz or so years has done a really nice spiral notebook presentation that contained season tickets & parking pa...

  These are the kind of posts you make when you’ve lost something like 14 out of the last 15 to a team and haven’t won a National Title since Dennis Erickson was there and David Lee Roth still fronted VH. :coffee: You're so full of it. Wait a tic - You're trying to say that these people who are crying out for socialism and are rejecting people based off their different opinions are LIBERTARIANS? The Libertarian ideology can be summed up as "Leave me alone." I'm not seeing that with this whiny kids who are committing crimes in the...

The flag is a symbol of a confederacy that promoted slavery. The Nazi flag isn't raciest either, but we know what that symbolizes. Agree to disagree. A flag is what YOU make it. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk So the American flag doesn't stand for anything either? And no one should have cared...

Here's an interesting podcast about police unions/contracts and some of the things going on. https://www.npr.org/2020/06/05/871298161/police-unions-and-police-violence 13 minutes long CID has mentioned the unions several times (as have a few other posts) in this thread. This explains some of what he...

Yeah, that will disappoint a lot of people. PSU seems to be one of the more popular places to go to an away game.

But that would be better than not having a game.

Re: Big Sky Tournament Thread (2020) - Men

I feel for these seniors that didn't get to participate, but this seems like an emotional plea thrown out there before they thought about the ramifications. Do you also add how ever many scholarships (and/or roster slots) for the seniors who would be staying? Maybe 2 for this school, 3 for that one,...

Re: Big Sky Tournament Thread (2020) - Women

What a disappointment for the players, especially seniors, that they won't be able to complete the season. Assuming the the Cats won, Tootel and Nuanez said the conference was lobbying for a higher seed than normal. Apparently the conference thought they had a chance of getting as high as the 10-12 ...
