Re: What to expect from the Biden-HArris administration?

You already pay for someone else's degree but I understand the sentiments...and agree. :thumb: I think most of us have all argued and agreed that the push (in my case by boomer parents) to go to college, get a 4 yr degree regardless of anything else, was misguided. Not everyone needs a 4 yr degree....

Re: 2020 General Election

Almost 800 more votes for Trump in those than for Biden, narrows the gap a little. Somebody messed up. Good thing they caught that. Maybe that's why they did an audit? Biden is keeping good company. And yes, parlor games with the count observers. :coffee: https://twitter.com/DavidShafer/status/1329...

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

In case I missed the point of this, it appears to support something we already know, masks are not worn as protection from Covid. Masks are primarily worn to reduce the spread by someone that is infected. A 50% reduction in my chances of being infected is pretty good. I'm surprised if it's 50% (the...

Re: 2020 General Election

Everyone has the right to contest an election. But when not having any evidence of wrong doing, a lawsuit must seem frivolous to the experts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yup. The courts will hash out any that may be frivolous and this will all work itself out. The issue is still the recounts...

Certified the presidential results (Biden win by about 91,000 votes), but didn't certify a county commissioner race won by 10 votes.

Well, I guess that proves Trump is right. :dunce:

Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. The higher the level of educational attainment, the longer the indoctrination period by those who cannot do, but instead teach. Thus the more the left leaning bias of the more educated progressives who have more exposure to those who can’t do and must rely...

I don't think Tester will flip. It's along ways off, so who can predict, but I don't think that he has to flip to be re-elected. And I really doubt he thinks he has to flip.

Yeah, I do think so. And, I think that's one reason he did so well in 2016. Maybe there was a shift in 2020 and it doesn't look like that anymore, but I think there is an opening for a Trumpist 3rd party, whereas there was not for a Tea Party move to Libertarianism. Maybe that is just a realignment...

Well, I was responding to “the new administration”. As far as just Biden himself, whom the Senators were addressing, it doesn’t hurt, and it doesn’t matter. Bidem won’t be able to remember it anyway. That still doesn’t make sense. You want to your new Cabinet and policy wonks to know the current st...

Re: 2020 General Election

It flipped the final result of the election, or it might/would have if they hadn't caught it? Impacted is a pretty generic term. I thought I read it had the potential to change the outcome but was caught and fixed. That implies to me that the system worked because even though there was a problem, i...

The maths will point out the statistical anomalies. Was there fraud? Of Course. Enough to sway the election? I don't think there will ever be proof of that one way or the other. Anyone thinking everything regarding mail in voting is up and up is delusion. There is a reason most European countries d...

With there being a lot more red counties than blue ones nation wide, it sure seems fishy that it's mostly Donk counties saying "whoopsie, here's a whole crate full of ballots we didn't count". Dropped off my ballot on the way to work yesterday at one of the places set up for that by the county. Including driving out of my way, probably took about 5 minutes to sign in and put the ballot in the box.
