was hoping he would get in as a wildcard....during the live announcement, the only time the stream locked up was...of course...while they were announcing 197.
Mocs got some tough draws...they are really going to have to be on their game to advance in the winners bracket.

Re: Coastal Carolina Baseball
Coastal gets runners on 1st & 3rd with 1 out on UNCW, but only manage 1 run to shave the lead to 3-2. Stephen Davis came in for Haney and got the fly out to center (Pope had some difficulty with it, but wouldn't have been able to peg the runner at home), then managed to pick off a Coastal runner...

Re: Hilton Coliseum
I was watching the Jackson press conference and right at the end it sounded like someone asked him about the planned Hilton renovation. Jackson responded, that was a selling point. We continue to talk about the south end zone, but it is possible that we might proceed with the Hilton renovation befor...

Kyle Singer is staying, and will join his senior and future co-captain Nolan Smith in leading a different kind of Duke team in a bid to repeat as National Champions. The Blue Devils have clearly been anointed as the team to beat by most, but winning one championship is hard enough—back to back is ev...

Re: Cal Poly v San Diego State
Hi, I have been accepted to both Cal Poly SLO and San Diego State. I was accepted into the SDSU honors program, which would be super beneficial in such a big school. But, I also got offered $2000 a year to go to Cal Poly. I got accepted into both schools for Biology. Which should I go to?? I'm out o...

gotta go with the Jackrabbits. We'll be hosting a party at Ben's Brewing Company in Yankton, SD. Looking forward to a great game in front of a great crowd. If the Bison win I still don't think they make the playoffs, too many other really deserving teams.

In the Southwestern Athletic Conference, we take our basketball seriously. Very seriously. But no piece of hardware is worth what our athletes pour into the game. They are driven by passion. They are motivated by pride. And they are compelled by a legacy of greatness, as the heirs to some of the pro...

Martin was part of two of those state titles at Lincoln, with Ellis in 1988 and without him in 1989. The team finished third in the state tournament in 1990. Martin had every intention of accepting a scholarship from the University of Illinois, the only school he was considering. But when the Deon T...

started at NKU in 1991, and have seen NKU grow throughout the years. I am very proud of my degree there. The one gripe we always had as students was the Division II status. We were very happy with the quality of the program, but it just wasn't the same as some of my buddy's smaller D-1 schools they ...

The CAA was founded in 1983 as the ECAC South basketball league. It was renamed the Colonial Athletic Association in 1985 when it added championships in other sports (although a number of members maintain ECAC affiliation in some sports). As of 2006, it organizes championships in 21 men's and women'...

Re: Georgia State's 2011 Schedule
I'll say it now on February 9th, if we put another 6-5 season, I'll mark it as tremendous success. Winnable games vs. Clark Atlanta (they are Division 2 vs. NAIA like Shorter), Murray State, UTSA, Lambuth, West Alabama and Campbell. The other 5 will be very tough and if we can go 1-4, I'll be thrill...
