Maine at New Hampshire
One of the longest rivalries, dating back before the Yankee Conference, coolest trophy (Brice-Cowell Musket), and this game has big playoff implications.

I think Maine is still ahead Towson at this point, of course we'll see who's better next Saturday in Orono. The Kicker wrote:I think NDSU and Montana St. will be 1-2 slitting a lot of first place votes. 3-10 should get a good shake up too. Towson into the top 5????

I'm guessing the Bizon lose in the quarters to whomever the CAA champ is (most likely UMaine or UNH at this point). That would be perfect for me.

Even better, there were three plays from Maine teams. Bowdoin had two 100 yard interception returns that were numbers 3 and 4, and of course UMaine's epic two-point conversion in OT to beat JMU.

Game is on the CW (WABI-DT2) in the Bangor market and on WPME down in the Portland market. I know that doesn't help you Hen fans, but at least the game is televised.

Re: Delaware at Maine
Great timing for the Bears bye week, it guaranteed that UM will be at full strength. Smith and the whole offense has played great football using a balanced attack that has given teams real issues. Our D-Line is strong, proving that they can get to the QB. They sacked Pitt 5 or 6 times. In order for ...

Ugh, as an East Coast guy it's hard to go against the hometown team story from Keystone, PA. It is great to see the community bring a crowd of 35-40K to watch 12 year olds play little league. If Keystone is eliminated tonight, then I'll root for Montana, if not and it's a PA/MT US Final, I'll be roo...

spirit lake has 11% of the people actually vote 68% APPROVED. THAT MEANS 89 % didnt give a **** or hated the name. If they hated the name, then they would of voted an voted against it. But they didn't, therefore they don't count in the vote. 68% approved the name, that's all that matters. You, JBB,...

Guess what, UNH fans, you will be lumped in with Maine because they are your longtime-rival and the only neighbor you have left. Deal with it. Here's the deal. UMaine will not go anywhere without UNH. The administration has said this before and will continue to say it. They are just frustrated with ...

Re: BIG SKY to dump hostile & abusive naia team
Why is it so friggin' bad to honor a group of people by naming your teams after them? I like the fact that UND has to use Fighting Sioux because of the new North Dakota law. What the NCAA is saying is break state law and change it. Great, the NCAA is saying to go against the LAW and listen to a corr...

Not the best place to play, but it's hard to beat Orono in the fall. The new turf they put in three years ago plays real nice and is much better than that old AstroConcrete. http://football.ballparks.com/NCAA/Atlantic10/Maine/interior.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4115/4850762895_407d0a9a41.jpg...

question for Maine fans, what are your thoughts on Bobby Wilder and several of the coaches that used to be at Maine but are now at ODU? I believe Rondeau (LB coach, DC), Zyskowski (RB coach), Whitcomb (QB coach), Morrison (OL coach, OC) all either played or coached at Maine.... It just shows how lo...
