Re: Rural Americans would be serfs if we abolished the Electoral College

Cynicism is not exactly bitterness... Look we've seen similar behavior with American tribalism in the recent past there is nothing new in my observation above There's also nothing incorrect (as best as I can tell) Cynics are altruistic by nature. Btw, Trump trails Biden by 10 and Bernie by 9 ...

Boat ramps at lots of Texas State Parks are not opening til at least July because there is too much water in the lakes... Our woods in back of our house are the most full of foliage I've seen in the 20 years we've lived here. I normally have my lawn watering system set up to water three times a wee...

As someone who describes my political position as “constitutional conservative”, I totally disagree with your assessment that some freedoms are liberal and some are conservative... If it’s in the Constitution (written in it, not made up by a judge or legislator, or executive) then I’m for it... So,...

Rural Americans would be serfs if we abolished the Electoral College

Should rural and small-town Americans be reduced to serfdom? The American Founders didn’t think so. This is one reason why they created checks and balances, including the Electoral College. Today that system is threatened by a proposal called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, or NPV. Ru...
