Re: Lehigh @ Towson Game Thread
For those who care about the injury reports, Both side seem are reporting no injuries going into the game. Should be fun today and they have pretty much sold out the place except for scattered singles.

Re: 2nd Round Ticket Prices and Attendance
Lehigh fans travel well. :coffee: 4th and 29 :coffee: I heard 9,000 tickets has been sold as of yesterday. I don't think we quite have a sellout (depends on Student Ticket sales), but it will be mighty close. I think Lehigh may have been extended more than the typical 500 tickets (maybe 1,500) and ...

So how good is Towson RB West? so good, that he failed to make the final 3 candidates for the Walter Peyton Award: http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfoot2/misc/haley/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; must have been the 52 yard...

Re: Lehigh @ Towson Game Thread
I thought I would get away from Anime Fandom on this board (My main fandom) and I get Pokemon trolling instead of people talking about Lehigh-Towson. I'm going to try to put this thread back on track with a question. How good is Lehigh's Special Teams? This is something I've been wondering some duri...

Re: NSU fan's Letter to the Editor
You have to play the game under duress on the road. The Pilot editorial shows epic stupidity. If NSU wanted to shut up the crowd, you win the game such as how Towson did on 4th and 29. Football is a loud and passionate game for everyone. As long as those people aren't cursing or showing deep disrepe...

Re: Pick Your 2nd Round Winners - Part 1
Winners I chose Sam Houston State, UNH, UNI and Montana. I think UNH can pull the upset over Montana State. The rest should be pretty comfortable wins for the Home teams I think. That is why they play the games and not the FCS boards.

Re: Lehigh @ Towson Game Thread
I think Towson wins by 7 points late by a INT for touchdown. A top 10 defense must be good for a reason and not just because they play in the Patriot League. They seem to be fundamentally sound and can shut down the rush. I think Enders will win or lose this game for Towson. He is more of a game man...

Re: How many CAA teams will survive next week?
And again, I'll just cite the matchup. It's potentially a very bad matchup, at least on paper, for Towson. I think the Towson defensive coordinator is going to have a long week this week and a tough job on Saturday figuring this one out, and if the Towson running game gets stuffed in any way whatso...

Re: Norfolk @ ODU - Game Thread
I think ODU will earn it's way to the upper echelon of FCS and much sooner than even they think. They put together an excellent game. I think ODU is a championship game dark horse. The big thing is whether the Freshman quarterback will be able to handle the road pressure in a tight game. I think we ...

Re: How many CAA teams will survive next week?
I say three out of the five win, but it could be as low as one (Towson, yes this is bias showing). I think Towson's Defense takes advantage of turnovers to beat Lehigh, ODU and JMU pulls upsets to make it three. With only one team at home, there is no way five of them make it to the round of eight.

Re: JMU @ NDSU
This could be a NDSU blowout unless JMU do more to get into the endzone. NDSU's offense is much better than JMU's and they have only given up 17 points a game on Defense. I think it will be very interesting to see how JMU responds after today's game.

Re: JMU @ EKU Official Game Thread
At this point, the Game may be the best so far of the First. ESPN is looking good for choosing this game as it's Television game. When you get a tied game at 17 with 7 minutes left, I say that is a good game. In contrast, ODU-NSU is already down 21-7 ODU early in the second quarter.

Re: NDSU ROAD TO THE TITLE
I think NDSU has a very tough road to the title game. If they win next weekend (Not a guarantee against JMU or EKU), They have to face Towson or Lehigh (Most likely Towson, but I'm being fair here) in the Quarters. Now tell me which poison do you want (in the dome), One of the top rushing offenses i...

Re: Start times for Round 2 games set according to ESPN
Towson doesn't do 12:00 PM games at all by choice of the AD. They want a good turnout by fans and the student body. That doesn't happen at 12 Noon or 1 PM Starts. All of Towson's start times are either 3:30 PM or 7 PM this year. That doesn't surprise me that they chose a 3:30 PM start.

Re: No Scoreboard for You
As an alumni of Aberdeen High School (MD) where this happened, I can see both sides of the story. Harford County is a very identity conscious area. It thinks it's a high class area where it is really a mixture of older and newer suburbs due to the growth of Metro baltimore and Aberdeen having a mili...

Re: Thankful
I'm thankful that the FCS has a playoff system instead of a Bowl System for the first time ever. I'm thankful to play in the CAA because if you can win 7 games in that conference, you can compete with anyone. I'm thankful for the Towson Tigers season. It may be the start of Saturdays mattering in Ba...

Re: Colonial Athletic Association Picks for Week #13
Old Dominion 30, Norfolk State 20 ODU gets it done at home, but is closer than many think because the game will be closer to neutral site than home. James Madison 20, Eastern Kentucky 14 Lower scoring than many think and proves that JMU should be in the field. It should be an interesting weekend of ...

Re: JMU Bids
JMU bids is really low for how much they get. It was surprising to me they only spent that much.I would love to find out how much Lehigh and Towson bid for Towson to get the bid. I though Lehigh would've out bid us and we would be on the road all of the way.

Fine, leave it up to me being the bad guy. I will say it. BANDWAGONERS. oh, and congrats to Towson. I'm not a bandwagoner. Re: Towson's T-West up for the Payton Award?
He missed the first game, so Payton Award isn't going to make it for T-West. I say he has nearly locked up the Rice award this year. The scariest thing (for the rest of the CAA) is that he and the O Line are young. They can only get better (if they stay healthy). PUHLEEZE. West won't even be the CA...
