Clenz has a point about Johnson. Best RB I've seen NDSU go up against the past two years and we have faced some tough backs over that timeframe.

NDSU Names Chris Klieman Next Head Coach
FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State athletic director Gene Taylor today announced defensive coordinator Chris Klieman (KLY-men) will be the next head coach of the Bison football team following the conclusion of the 2013 season. Klieman will follow Craig Bohl, who accepted the head coaching position at...

Re: North Dakota Fires Chris Mussman
UND not only turned down a 4 year home and home, they also said NDSU would fail in it's DI move, it was well documented that they were not going to help NDSU in it's transition by scheduling games with the Bison. Now that both are DI and in different conferences, there is no need for an annual game...

Re: will conference realignment ruin FCS?
Clenz, or other UNI fans, is this a move UNI is considering? Is it something your fans will support, and what would it take, to do it? Who would be for current FCS teams and few current BCS teams to join forces in creating a new BCS conference? Some of the schools I had in mind are Montana, Montana...

NDSU offers 16 sports.SuperHornet wrote:Fourteen sports ain't going to cut it at FBS. Most conferences require swimming/diving, along with regional niche sports.
You ain't ready....
I guess NDSU could offer swimming and diving or whatever else if need be but the school isn't adding sports unless it has to.

Re: will conference realignment ruin FCS?
In comparison to the UXDs and SDSU, you're exactly right: NDSU is MUCH closer to being ready. The problem is that despite THAT, NDSU is NOWHERE near being ready for FBS. ESPECIALLY in terms of finding a conference willing to go to Fargo. Short of building a new stadium NDSU has done all it can do. ...

There is no way USD or UND could support FBS football. I'd have my doubts about SDSU as well but at least they have a plan to build the proper kind of stadium. Only NDSU is really FBS ready and our stadium isn't exactly ideal due to it seating just under 19k.

There really needs to be another western FBS league...too bad the WAC died such a quick death. Seems like our AD is starting to come to terms with what is happening to the FCS. We will never change our helmet, it is a masterpiece. Not the biggest fan of our current uniforms, we are getting new white road uniforms though. The only way the Dakota dome will ever look better is with dynamite and a new facility is constructed over the rubble. It is a dump inside and out...I th...

Re: Montana State buys out 2013 NDSU Game
it was legal obviously, but still it was a bush league move by MSU. People can do a lot of legal things but it doesn't necessarily make them right. MSU handled it very poorly, their AD should have given NDSU more time. I don't care about the game being bought out, I understand that it happens but th...

Re: Montana State buys out 2013 NDSU Game
No real love for the Bison, but this is a sh*** deal. UNI was offering upwards of $350,000 last year for an FCS team to come in to play on short notice. I am fairly certain no return game was being offered. No takers. I suspect NDSU will have an even shorter list of available options, given the tra...

One thing I do find hilarious is that a few MVC fans think that being good at football is a bad thing, yeah it is terrible that NDSU football makes money and is very well supported. I guess if you have worthless non-scholarship football program that nobody cares about and lose money it is better acc...

Because MSU did this a little over a week before March, you do this kind of thing in October. It is the way they went about doing it, just bush league.
Whatever I guess, I won't listen to one second of bitching about NDSU's SOS from anyone though.

If the Summit collapses NDSU has other options. Other schools might not be so fortunate though, UNO and WIU especially. What other options are there? WAC could take in Omaha, it would add another market for them and help bridge the gap to Chi State and UMKC. The Big Sky. NDSU will never join the WA...
