Re: BREAKING NEWS: NDSU Bohl To Be Introduced At Wyoming Sun
An interesting article that I thought most of you would also find interesting. Personally I do not recall this ever happening after a coaching change. It sounds like Bohl might coach the Bison through the season. http://lancasteronline.com/article/ap/929062_Bohl-says-it-s-time-for-someone-else-to-co...

Re: 2013
The NDSU Bison will return 18 of 22 starters from their 2012 Championship team. Really though they are returning 20 of 22, as two starting underclassman will be back from season ending injuries from this last year. 2013 was supposed to be the year the Bison would make a serious run at the title do t...

Re: Sam Houston vs North Dakota St
I will say congrats to the NDSU team and coaches. But the fans will now be worse than ever. Thanks for the congrats Grizz. I will have to concur with you on a number of my fellow Bison fans, and that is unfortunate as many of us(98%) are respectful. It's just that some of the 2% that choose to post...

16 would be best, but having 20 or 24 teams to allow the 1st and 2nd seeds a bye week is fine as well.

Gridiron Power Index (Oct)
I thought many of you would appreciate this: The Gridiron Power Index (GPI), the index ranking for the NCAA Division I FCS and a top indicator of at-large playoff selection has unbeaten Cal Poly as the new No. 1. Five MVFC schools rank in the Top 12, and the Missouri Valley Football Conference is th...

Re: NDSU vs Colorado State
As a long time Bison fan I wouldn't be surprised either. However, his wife and kids are native Fargoites and are deeply rooted to the area. Coach Bohl has said he likes NDSU alot and that it would take just the right situation to leave. Friends of his have said it would need to be a school with a ri...

Re: Big Sky vs. UND, are they out?
It would be interesting on how a new vote would work out for UND. When Univ. of SD was in the vote traveling was an issue as well, but slightly less in that it was a 2 for 1 shot when traveling out to the Dakotas for athletic events. Also, Big Sky was told that the nickname and logo dispute for UND ...

Re: Rings for all the transition players
NDSU could maybe create a special ring different from the National Ring for the players that transitioned the program. Something of some sort should be done to recognize the efforts of them. Go BIson!!!

Re: THE CAA IS DEAD
The CAA is by no means dead. As stated in another post, Towson and ODU will be better next year. James Madison was our toughest game of the playoffs(though I believe NDSU turned it up a notch for each game after playing their best defensively in the championship game). JMU is also bringing alot back...

Re: UND signing another QB
No Lakes, my guess is the UND coaches are taking a page out of NDSU and other prorams like theirs and recruiting kids with good character, above average intelligence, and passion to play football. Obvisously this kid had some deciding factors against him. I hope UND builds their program up to almost...

Re: Griz lose both coordinators
Montana is a top-notch program that hasn't had any trouble attracting quality assistants or head coaches. I don't believe this will be any different. However, there is always that concern of what if this time. I would say, "no worries." Montana will continue to be a FCS force.

Re: Which BIGSKY TEAM has the hardest CONF schd over next 4
If UNC was the bottom of the Big Sky this year, then UND would have to be the team with the hardest schedule, or at least tied with UNC. UND barely got by UNC this year thanks to a late second field goal and also barely got by Sioux Falls, a team that is transitioning from NAIA to DII. A win in both...

Re: When did you become a fan of your favorite team?
As a freshmen in high school, I jumped on the NDSU Bison bandwagon as they made their way to the championship game against SW Texas State in 1981. Although the Bison lost that year, I watched them play in six championship games over the next nine years winning five championships along the way. Now t...
