Re: Trump announces Brett Kavanaugh as his 2nd SCOTUS nominee.

Luckily, the Eagles were playing during the timeframe of the call (it was a big comeback against the Cleveland Browns in '91; Eagles down 23-7 and they won 32-20) and I was with friends the entire afternoon. My whereabouts and witnesses were airtight. I remember that game, McMahon was the QB. I was...

Is it me or is Trip getting nuttier every day? Sweet Moses, I remember when he was at least sanely arguing things, now he's jumped off the deep end, resurfaced, and swimming away at a pretty good clip. If he owned any weapons this thread alone would be enough to red-flag him. JSO comes off as dotter...

Re: Trump announces Brett Kavanaugh as his 2nd SCOTUS nominee.

Listened to the NPR interview they did with the two women who authored the most recent book that the NYT ran with when they screwed up their story over the weekend. Good interview, and based on that and the book, it paints a fairly clear picture that we'll never know the true story of what Kavanaug...

Maybe I missed it, but where is there an allegation that Clarence Thomas raped someone? The whole Anita Hill saga was over sexual harassment, it had nothing to do with rape. Those are different things last I checked, no? :coffee:

He literally has no idea what he's for and what he's against anymore. He's done so many flips and turns he's just dizzy now. Oh, and Warren isn't winning anything without winning the Black vote and the organized labor vote and I don't see any indication she's going to win that. She's like a weaker ...

Trump appoints new Nat Sec Advisor, is now asking for sanctions. There's a lot of bad things you can say about Trump that any reasonable person will agree with, but I've seen nothing from Trump that tells me he's itching to bomb him some Ay-rabs. It could be because Tucker Carlson doesn't want him ...

Kavanaugh and Thomas sexually assaulted women and that's their legacy. No matter what they do, that's how they'll be remembered for the rest of time. Hopefully one day, at least Kavanaugh can be impeached so he can face real consequence. Listened to the NPR interview they did with the two women who...

Things not looking good for Bibi Netanyahu as the ballots are counted. “The Arabs are coming! The Arabs are coming! Vote for me!” Stalemate again it looks like. If I had to bet now I'd bet they nominate Warren. That disappoints me. I think she has a good chance to beat Trump. Better than 50:50 at this point, I think. But if they do nominate her it'll be a situation in which they could have done much better in terms of putting up a candidate likely to beat ...

Butler behaved himself in his time with the Sixers. Just not the fit we needed, though, and it was addition through subtraction with him. Didn't sign him to the money he wanted and we got Josh Richardson and Al Horford instead. Wish him well in South Beach and he's always welcome back to sit next to...

We supply enough military aid to the Saudis that they can handle whatever response they deem appropriate. This isn't something the USA needs to strike Iran over - just keep choking them with sanctions, obviously it's having an effect. Remember Iraq 1991 / Same / Same  Did someone invade and a...

I still have an old copy of EA Sports NCAA Football and I edit in teams. I just ran the simulation of the '85 Eagles with Ham and they ran roughshod over the 2018 Bison. 35-3 final for GSU. I felt bad for the Bison, just haven't been tested enough in the shell of the FCS they play in now.
