Re: Big Sky Playoff Analysis
Montana is a tough team to judge this year. Their road games have been horrible (it seems Carroll College could beat them if they played in Helena) with questionable play calls and clock management, and you never know which team will show up week to week. Winning out would give them a shot, but the ...

Re: Montana/CP Game Thread
Hate to say it, but the Griz are downright awful on the road and only above average at home. Play calling highly suspect, defense is good but seems to give up big plays, really no consistency on either end. Its frustrating watching an offense with Jones, Van, Canada and Johnson and see them struggl...

Re: Montana/CP Game Thread
First off, I am not trying to be a dick... Do any of you griz fans notice how often your WR's seem to talk and strut around after doing something (Given, some of those catches were REALLY good.) I don't watch the Cats players very closely after a big play, but I don't remember them being that cocky...

Re: FCS Kickoff: #1 EWU vs. #17 SHSU Game Thread
ESPN is ruining this coverage. Colin Cowherd? Really? He went to EWU, great. How about talk about the actual game being played? Its a highly competitive game with explosive offense. Yet he and the other announcers cant seem to stop talking about Oregon or Bama. Damn this dude/coverage really pisses ...

Re: Power 5 Conferences
I agree, I mean what to they have to play for? No playoffs, little funding, and maybe a chance at a chic-fil-a bowl or something, with hundreds of viewers tuning in. I am very glad Montana avoided that. One could argue that the FCS and its playoff system and competitiveness is better than these low...

Re: Power 5 Conferences
What I was trying to get at with these questions is this: I think with the Power 5 conferences being able to pay or compensate its players that it WILL affect recruiting at a lower level. Think of it this way. If a 4-5 star recruit is having academic problems or there is a ton of depth at his positi...

Re: Power 5 Conferences
I would think this is the worst news for ODU, JMU(if anyone invites them to 1A), App. State and Georgia Southern. Those schools now enter no man's land. They will never have a chair at the big table and they also don't get to play for a championship. I guess maybe they eventually get a bowl number ...

Power 5 Conferences
What is everyone's thoughts on the top 5 Power Conferences separating from the NCAA? What does is mean for the Big Sky Conference, and teams like Montana and Montana State that were planning to move up to the BCS? How will it affect recruiting in the FCS, when the bigger schools are eventually able ...
