Blue Ponies Stadium?
Yeah. MSUN is apparently building an on-campus stadium, but I'm not sure when it's supposed to be done.

The Griz will play this year, but they won't be allowed to leave the state so they'll play a Frontier Conference schedule. :coffee:

Re: Sac QB Kevin Thomson in the Transfer Portal

Do we play them this year? Is Sac playing football this year? Are WE playing football this year? Ah whatever, I'll check in to see who NDSU romped in the championship. The Griz will play this year, but they won't be allowed to leave the state so they'll play a Frontier Conference schedule. :coffee:

Re: Sac QB Kevin Thomson in the Transfer Portal

2 things 1. MVFC teams would hold more top spots too if we got to play 6 games against the bottom of half of the BSC too 2. Remember what I said about Davis last year to you? Make Sac State that team this year. Book it. Difference is the dungpilers did their damage with a weaker schedule in 2018. T...

I think you're confusing EKU with WKU.
Is EKU still FCS?
Yes.

I guess McNeese is the most overranked team in history? Most weeks at #1 without a title.

Well, they do have the most embarrassing loss of any #1 team: Link

That was Jerome Souers's only playoff win. :coffee:

Cool graphic. 10 of the teams on that list are no longer in I-AA (four of the top ten). I guess McNeese is the most overranked team in history? Most weeks at #1 without a title. Why are they giving JSU a racist symbol? I count 5 of the top 10: Marshall, EKU, GSU, Nevada, ASU..... I think you're con...

Re: 2020-21 College B-Ball Season

I think there will be some sort of college basketball season, but I'd be surprised if it started in November—especially if the football season gets pushed to the spring or something. In other words, it's more likely to be the 2021 season than the 2020-21 season.

Most of Sac's incoming class are transfers as well. I think this is the new normal with the transfer portal being what it is. :?
And the one-free-transfer rule hasn't even been implemented yet. :?

Re: WBB - Montana Fires Shannon Cate-Schweyen

It'll be interesting to see if Jamie Pickens, who was an ESPN top-100 recruit, stays. I get the impression her longtime friendship with the Schweyen family was the main reason UM landed her. Well, that question is now answered… :? https://missoulian.com/sports/college/big-sky-conference/university-...

The Skyline article indicates assistant Mike Petrino will serve as the interim HC for next season. That makes the firing look more puzzling, really, and makes it abundantly clear this was a last-second decision by AD Kent Haslam. Skyline has a tendency to get details wrong, though, so maybe we shou...
