Don't feel bad about it, but regardless I think both of us will end up disappointed. That is when we're not rooting for our teams, one can always hope though.JayJ79 wrote: Cool, now I don't feel so bad cheering for Illinois State, Cal Poly, and SDSU in the next three weeks

Re: UNI vs. Misery State
I think UNI will win 38-27. But c'mon MSU, prove me wrong please!
I'm still bummed about Youngstown St letting every Bison fan in the country down last saturday

Re: Who's #1??
Historically, NDSU is 19-25 against the Gateway. I hope you are not knocking it. With all but 2 of those as a DII school. They're 18-24 against the Gateway competing with 36 scholarship players against teams with 63 scholarship players, that's pretty good. Again, the Gateway is a very good conferen...

Re: Who's #1??
You have apparently not been around I-AA very long. Records of people from the MAC are very decieving. After playing Western Illinois would you not say they are better than Central Michigan? For a team in Central Michigan that you dominated Western Illinois sure gave you fits. Do you think Northern...

Re: Week 8 Attendances!
68,033 (paid attendance) an the HHH Metrodome for Bison/Gophers II although with the number of empty seats I thought the AIS (arses in seat) was probably in the area of 60,000. Around half of those were NDSU fans who contributed significantly more than half of the noise.

Re: Who's #1??
Central Michigan wouldn't finish in the top half of the Gateway or the Big Sky! :o Wow :o , you cannot be serious. Look at the schedule, Central Michigan beat Toledo by 3 touchdowns, the same Toledo team that beat Iowa State. The same Iowa State team that UNI has been bragging about beating all yea...

Re: Who's #1??
Just for the sake of discussion: Let's say NDSU wins out, goes undefeated for the season and is ranked #1 in the final regular season poll(s). Since they can't go to the playoffs, their season ends at that point. After the playoffs, and there is a FCS champion, regardless of who that ends up being,...

Re: SME Top 25 for Week 6
Though as soon as the Warners get their first loss, Appy will be back up there fighting it out with the Griz. (We can safely ignore NDSU since they're technically not post-season-eligible.) Ignore away, just like the Griz did on 9/6/03 with a 24-2 halftime lead on the DII version of NDSU. Cuz if UN...

Re: Kats now know where they stand
The Fargodome has always been a difficult place for Southland teams to play in but the Bearkats played like it was in their own backyard. The Bison were very very fortunate to come away with a win in that game and I think if SHSU can play like that for the rest of the year, they won't be losing too ...

Re: Who's #1 Now???
Bottom Line: UNI can win a National Title this year, NDSU can NOT. If that's your logic, why even rank NDSU? The poll has nothing to do with whether or not a team is post season eligible, it has to do with who are the consensus best football teams in the FCS. The MAC is NOT a legitimate FBS confere...

Re: Who's #1 Now???
NDSU thoroughly dominated their FBS opponent, outgained them by 100+ yards, controlled the ball for 36+ minutes and won by 30. UNI wasn't all that impressive in their victory, they were outgained by 70 yards, barely won the time of possesion and had the benefit of 4 Iowa St turnovers while winning b...
