Re: Montana and the other solid teams!!!!
I have a feeling the 4 seeds will be: 1. JMU 2. App State 3. Cal Poly 4. UNI I think even with a Cal Poly loss to Wisconsin they will still get the seed if it is at all close. If Weber wins out I think they get sent to Cal Poly, while Montana gets the #2 team from the So-Con at home in the first rou...

Re: BIG SKY CONF.
Just say NAU beat WSU and UM beat NAU. = how many teams in the playoffs?? 2, Weber with only 7 D-1 wins in a 12 game season gets left out. UM gets auto bid based on Sagrin, which will be higher than NAU or WSU due to not losing late in the season. Say WSU Beats NAU and Um Beats NAU= how many??? 2, ...

Re: Montana at Weber State Game Thread
Another thing: Weber looked horrible against Utah, scoring twice in the last 7 minutes to make the score look respectable. They looked good against Hawaii, but they are Hawaii's ONLY win, hell, Hawaii lost to San Jose State (who we all know had to rally to beat UC Davis). Food for thought.... Agree...

Re: Montana at Weber State Game Thread
Weber has looked pretty good so far, and Higgins is a good QB, but I think they get exposed this weekend. 2 FBS teams, 2 lower level team, hard to tell where they are at. I think Bobby fixes the cover 2 issues the Griz had against CWU, TJ gets 2 picks (1 for a TD), and the Montana O starts rolling, ...

Re: Montana football game notes - Central Washington
I don't know how Wolfman got so dumb, but I'm not sure he's really a Griz. fan. It's almost as if he watches them just to root against them. I just don't see how you can hate ALL things Griz, then claim to be a Griz fan.   you're just mad because Wolfman ruined "AZGriz" on...

Re: Big Sky Stadiums (Problems)
I think PGE just installed FieldTurf as well, so the surface should be better. Really, though, the only way to have decent D-I facilities and fans support in the BSC is to move the schools to areas that care about the schools instead of a I-A school nearby - which would basically just leave Montana ...

Re: Division I puts a Moratorium on Membership
I wonder if this means the NCAA is going to take a serious look at a playoff for the BCS, and they don't want the gold rush of teams pouring in for the football tournament money that would be distributed.

Re: D-I newbies
I read in a blog that Seattle U may go to the WAC - the WAC wants 10 members for basketball for scheduling, although 9 is ideal for football, so although it isn't urgent for the WAC, they may add Seattle U as a basketball only member.

Re: Walter Payton Award Watch
It should be Santos to lose, but if struggles and Hillard is healthy - and gets enough plays - he could pick it up. Edwards might be the best player, but I doubt a QB that runs a lot can win it - scrambling yes, as a running back no. Hillard probably has the best change of the 3, due to position and...

Re: D-I newbies
I wonder if Seattle will try for a BSC invite now that they were turned down by the WCC? When Northern Colorado was added Fullerton said it was ideal to have an uneven number for basketball and even number for football, and apparently Denver turned down an invite. Add in the large Seattle media mark...
