Re: BSC Conference Standings
perhaps a few remaining unknowns about Montana . Look, I'm not the biggest griz fan in the world, but I happen to live in missoula so I've been privy to their last two home games at the stadium. Let me tell you what those unknowns are.......nothing. They've got some deficiencies in the defensive se...

Re: Congrats EWU from Montana
Way to go Eagles. I was beginning to doubt (for 3 quarters) that the Eagles were going to show up. Great job, well deserved. I look forward to watching the national champions play in Wa/Griz next fall. You made the BSC proud. And beating a team and conference that those on the east coast thought sho...

Re: Would it be fair to say...
UNH did not impress last night. Frankly, other then defense, Delaware did not look dominating. All that I am taking away from this is that Villanova looks to be the toughtest team that I have seen in the playoffs. We shall see.

Re: 2011 Montana schedule released
the schedule sure puts a lot of pressure on Pflu to produce in a hurry. the season could be decided in the first third of the season. Very disappointed in a DII game.

Re: tv coverage
Thanks guys. I appreciate you saving me all the time.
Actually, as I suspected, not all of the details have been completed yet for each game. I didn't know if they were all on ESPN stations or not. I figured the participants would have the best information.
thanks again.

Good matchup vs championship
All the discussions of bowl games vs a championship game got me to thinking. Do you watch games for the anticipation of a good matchup or to see who will hoist a trophy? I like to watch both FCS and FBS games depending on the two teams playing. It doesn't really matter to me who wins the trophy unle...

Re: FCS Style - Nike Pro Combat Uniforms
It was fun to go back and read this thread. However, the worst part was that our uniforms really did look like the picture and then got worse with the black and orange abomination. I don't care for the pro-combat style at all but I will say this......I sure wish they would use Willies' design. It is...

Re: Which seed is most likely to lose?
I think the most likely would be the Cats losing to NDSU. I think NDSU plays the the type of game that could be troubleseome for the Cats. That being said, I think the Cats will win.
Go Cats!

Re: What Do You Consider a Good Season...
For me a successful season is nothing less then making the playoffs. I know that sounds arragant since there are teams that have never been in the playoffs. And, I can remember the day when just making the playoffs was huge because it was not common to do so. But after making them for so many years....

Re: Most Hated
I can't say I hate any one team either. I used to hate Georgia Southern but that was before message boards. Before we had the boards you knew nothing of the fans and programs. Then you learn that most fans are pretty good guys and gals and there are butt heads at all the schools. I cheer for the CAA...

"I'm assuming the Griz will win, but if Roper throws a couple picks, our guys get stripped while stacked up, or Nguyen muffs a return or two... who knows."
I agree. We have a way of taking a comfortable game and turning it into an "oh crap" game.

Re: Analyzing the WAC
I agree that the WAC will be a skeleton of what they once were for awhile and that adding new members to the Big Sky is a strong move since the BSC is nothing like what it was with Boise, Idaho and Nevada. But answer me this.....will the FCS still have Delaware, App State, Geo Southern, the CAA and ...

Re: Big Sky Preview - October 23
This is going to be a crazy week in the Big Sky. Sac 28 EWU 24 Sac is a good team and puts it all together this week. MSU 28 UNC 21 A close game but the Cats pull it out PSU 28 Web 14 PSU is a good team and pull it altogether also. NAU 21 UM 17 I hope I am way off but this game is going to be tough....

Re: #1 & #2 how good are they?
That is a good question and I think it applies to most of the top 20 teams. There does not seem to be any team without question marks, inconsistency and injuries. This season seems much more wide open then in years past. The second half of the season is going to be very interesting for everyone.

Re: Week 6 CS GOTW: #19 Elon @ #1 Appalachian State
I'm just curious, why is it that a Big Fluffy that is beating up on each other indicates they are a one 1 bid conference but when it is the SoCo and CAA beating on each other it means they are three to five bid conferences. HMMMM, wish I could figure that out. Oh well, no need. Let others think what...

This should be a fun game. I DVRd Hen/Spider game. I have to say that the Hens look very good with lots of balance. Haven't seen JMU play but if they beat the Hens they must be pretty darned good.
