Re: SC St steals WR from Louisville
Better yet...do you really think SCSU stole him from Louisville? If he were going to start at Louisville right away...he'd be at Louisville.

Wow...I ummm...re-ask and will wait, as per people do, until the polls are released to have you post your full poll. I will as well. Really curious who you have above many of those teams...particularly EKU, ISU, SBU, Del and Albany. And SDSU...really?!?!? SELA is their big win....or McNeese's bad l...

Re: Albany facts
Not saying SDSU shouldn't be in the poll. However, you don't vote a team simply on their "All-MVFC" award winners or pre-season accolades, or their POTENTIAL, which I agree is rather high for SDSU. However, Kansas L SELA W Davis W ISU W Bonus points for SELA and ISU wins on the road. ISU's...

Re: UALBANY Proposed Stadium Flyover-Shovel Ready?
To me, that's press box, operations and coaching booths. The expansion for suites and amenities will likely--IMHO--go on top of that pressbox, taking into consideration the height of the elevator shaft that leaves about 15-20 feet for another floor or two of connections. My guess is the next expansi...

Re: If UMass Goes FBS
SuperHornet...talking out of his ass, yet again. Clearly you havent paid attention much to the NEC. CCSU, Monmouth, Albany and RMU have all battled for the league since the arrival of Albany (and Stony Brook). All have had wins against bigger clubs (e.g. scholarship rides) that brought respect to th...

Re: Congratulations to Dayton and Jacksonville
Ursus: How do Dayton and others like them get a better schedule if nobody will play them? This is the same issue Boise is dealing with. The "Big Boys" duck the "Little Boys" and then hold the "Little Boys" responsible for the lack of SOS. Self-fulfilling prophecy and t...

Re: Congratulations to Dayton and Jacksonville
JD: You're using the same argument the B(C)$ elitists use on Boise, and it's just as bogus here. The underlying assumption behind your argument is that Dayton is being a bunch of pansies. While that COULD be the case, it's also just as possible that CAA and like schools near Dayton are ducking them...

Re: Big East expansion intent now official
Army and Navy's football programs are much more storied than the team's being mentioned for invitation. Both have size recruit limitations (imposed by military standards). Army and Navy (and Air Force) can't recruit 6'8" recievers or 350 lbs linemen. Completely false. I was recruited by Army a...

Re: Big East expansion intent now official
And if it is a football expansion only as NWFLGriz mentioned then there should be no argument at all. For the past few seasons Army and Navy (The Mids in particular) have been pretty dang dominate and/or played very well against Big East Schools. Army is an up and coming team while Navy has just be...

First, as someone highly affiliated to West Point athletics...they are not looking to go to the BEast and they are not looked at by the Big East. For those who don't understand marketing potential, unfortunately having the acadamies does NOT help advertising; they are too controversial in the minds ...

The markets for those teams are effectively captured by others already in the league.

Re: Big East expansion intent now official
My guess is TCU and UCF...and as a Big East fans for years...I would welcome it. Orlando is a huge media market, UCF is an enormous school...with great facilities, and it gives a natural rival for USF. Plus, it is easy to fly into...and USF can bus it in under an hour without traffic. I think it is ...
