Re: The Iran War

I think the most likely scenario was an Iranian who was trained by a half-trained Iranian who was trained by another half-trained Iranian who was trained by a Russian contractor probably mistook the radar return for a bogey and pulled the trigger That’s really the only way you can shoot down a comm...

*Newsworthy* but no paper will write an article.

He pooped! We were just giving him the prescription stuff and he went before he got more than 15% drank. I assume the prescription had not had a chance to work.

But I bet when all that sugar hit his stomach, it triggered something.

Poor Ricky Gervais.....shunned by Hollywood and on a revenge crusade. He reminds me a lot of Trump.....he just wants to be loved! ;)   His attacks on Apple (they use slave labor! :o ) and Mark Zuckerburg (he has no friends! :o ) was hilarious....ly pathetic....you can always count o...

Went to the ER for our constipated son and was given a prescription for Lactulose. An artificial sugar that breaks down and draws water into the bowels to hopefully make him pass his stool. We gave him a suppository, then a mineral oil enema in addition to his Miralax dose, before we went to the ER...

Now back to the stock market thing. The S&P since that was used. Below is an image showing long term perspective (the end point is January, 2020). Let's say any reasonable person was looking at that and trying to identify points at which the basic situation changed without knowing anything abou...

I cant tell you how many times I see people merging onto the interstate at 45mph and causing a shit ton of issues.

The other one I love is how people will use the turn lane as a merge lane.

Re: The Iran War

I keep hearing Trump did this to distract from impeachment. Hadn't his polls risen to pre-impeachment levels?

Essentially, it sounds like a poor talking point.

Re: The Iran War

It's interesting that the same people whining about actually killing a bad guy are the same people who were eerily silent while Obama was droning untold hundreds or thousands of innocents (while at the same time he was locking kids in cages at the border). They're also the same people who just yest...

I would have to be WAY out in the boonies. I really like SW VA, but that state is a lost cause for a gun owner at this point.

I love how many people didn't vote for Trump in 2016. ;) ;) ;) He's the internet porn of Presidents. Because, ya know, nobody looks at internet porn either. I've been very transparent about who I voted for. :grizo1: Same here, but in blue Washington a vote for him would not have mattered. I will vo...

 I haven't said anything about how I, or anyone else should follow Jesus, but it makes sense that you would try to be as decent as possible. Because the rules of Christianity club say you must accept Jesus and believe he atoned for your sins. One has met the rules and the other hasn't. Now with that being said, I can't comment on Copeland's "saved" status, but would point out when Jesus told those that while they claimed to be...

Re: RIP White Christian America

When I was a snotnosed teenager, I remember getting into a debate with our minister at a church dinner about whether non-Christians could go to heaven. I took the affirmative case, based on the propositions that (1) each belief system had its own conception of the afterlife and what it took to get ...
