Re: Semis: #3 Weber St (11-3) @ #2 JMU (13-1), Sat, 12/21, 6:30 PM, ESPNU

Just goes to show how much the rest of the FCS needs to go to start challenging NDSU and JMU

Re: QF - #6 Montana @ #3 Weber

JMU would've been favored regardless but I think their chances of getting to the championship game got better. Now JMU gets to play a team that won in spite of having only 8 first downs and 113 yards total offense because the other team had 5 turnovers. Weber States D is as good as UNI’s and their ...

Re: FCS PLAYOFFS ROUND 3

According to Weber State's athletics page close to 9000 tickets have been sold including a sold out section on the West side. Highly doubt that many show up. But here's hoping. To any Griz fans attending, Utah just got a winter storm warning that supposed to come in tomorrow night and basically last...

And thanks to the start time. Weber is now guaranteed to have an incredibly small crowd for one of the biggest rematches against one of our biggest rivals Great C'mon, nobody works a full day on a Friday in December. Re: 2R - Kennesaw @ #3 Weber

Hoping for disciplined play by Weber, triple option is tough to stop but Hill has created a system for the sole purpose of stopping and since he's been here it has worked pretty well, but..........Kennesaw has more talent than Cal Poly. Should be a good game, hope the fans show up.

Go Wildcats!

Re: Playoff projection thread

Well, maybe, but the blowout loss to Montana was recent & Sac blew out Montana. Sac was also the only team to have a winning record against the rest of the top-5 in the Big Sky standings. I think the fact that we played all three, and went 2-1 will help. But either way, will it matter? Sorry, new t...

It's possible, but with the head to head win for Weber i think it pushes them ahead. Well, maybe, but the blowout loss to Montana was recent & Sac blew out Montana. Re: Playoff projection thread

I agree with most of this, but I doubt Sac gets a higher seed than Weber All the polls had Sac higher coming in, though. The polls aren't supposed to be used, of course, but the committee's thinking will likely be similar. It's possible, but with the head to head win for Weber i think it pushes the...

Re: FCS Footbal Alive and Well

North Dakota State, South Dakota State, James Madison, and dare I say Weber State, are all decent programs that have emerged since the schools you mentioned left. The real difference is the teams that used to be the power that are still fcs have slightly fallen off the map, giving the appearance of...

Re: FCS Footbal Alive and Well

That reflects more on the strength of Montana more than the fcs Nope. Almost guaranteed representation of teams across the board is down. Some of the biggest "providers" from the FCS level (App St, GSU, etc.) have moved up....who took their places? ETU? Mercer? That's endemic of what's happened to ...

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - WEEK TWELVE

I'm not joking. This time of year I'm more interested in who is making the playoffs. The Montana-Weber game has little do with that. I also care more about the CAA obviously and I want to see how SDSU rebounds after losing to IlSU. Thats actually good reasoning.....................But still it's We...
