Re: #4 Montana vs #1 James Madison
Chaulk it upto East Coast Bias I suppose. The beauty is in less 24hrs, we will know how good JMU or Montana is on the field. As it should be.

Re: #4 Montana vs #1 James Madison
Well after Richmond & JMU take care of business this weekend, the CAA will be 8-3 as a league in the playoffs going into the championship game. The Big Sky will be 3-2 for the 2008 playoffs. Don't give me the head-head knockout BS since Villanova had to play JMU. Fact is the Big Sky had only 2 ...

Re: #4 Montana vs #1 James Madison
Oh yea I forgot. The Dukes have only lost 1 time in the past 4 years at home. I will eat my crow with pride if UNI and the Griz do not handle thier business, but it will be oh so wonderful to see the CAA posters make every excuse in the book for them not getting one team to the Championship game af...

Re: #4 Montana vs #1 James Madison
This is really bias. I would definitely give JMU in favor of the QBs, RBs, Return Teams, defensive line, and then push for secondary. Montana may have the best RB in the game, but JMU's RBs as a whole is better. They use 2-3RBs in the game. I don't know why you gave Return teams to Montana. JMU has...

Re: Richmond Spiders vs. UNI Panthers
I think the Panthers handle the Spiders. The Richmond defense is the real deal but I didn't find anything stellar about the offense. Ward was incredibly inconsistent in his passing game. Vaughn got his yards, but most came late in the second half when the ASU defense had been worn down. Bum QB, 4th...

Re: Walter Payton Award, a Big Joke?
Looks like Superman's cape has been officially passed for 2008. Or lets say Armanti "the great" passed his way out-of the Payton race today. Rodney Landers had his usual ho-hum 146yrd rushing and a TD + 3 TDs passing in the semi-finals. A far cry from 4 picks against a team from that confe...

Re: Wofford @ #1 James Madison
The brackets are the usual workings of the NCAA. For years in the Division 3 playoffs the match-ups are based on geography more than seed. Per the NCAA handbook, any teams <500 miles apart can be bused, more than that requires a flight paid for by the NCAA. There is a term called "The Texas Su...

Re: South Carolina St @ #2 Appalachian
It's not just Wofford, though. JMU will likely have to play Nova again in the quarters. Villanova should have received a seed & was just a hail mary away from beating the Dukes in the regular season. Agreed. If JMU SHOULD happen to make it to Chatty, they'll be so friggin' exhausted it'll be a ...
