Re: Cal Poly - IN or OUT?
The 6 wins is a guideline, not a hard and fast rule. The Griz will get in with a win in either of their last 2 games. The NCAA can (and will) overlook guidelines when $$$$ is considered. And UM brings a LOT of money to the table. Not saying it is necessarily fair or deserving (and I am a Griz fan), ...

Re: WHATS THE *REAL* PROBLEM WITH IDAHO STATE?
I think you are underestimating the problems that the turf and the facilities create. In recruiting, in playing, in adjusting to other surfaces, etc. There is no other surface like it in the Big Sky (fortunately). That can be an advantage when other teams come in there, but is a disadvantage when yo...

Re: Montana AD Talks FCS Finances
In addition to what Kem said, there are 3 other factors that Montana has to deal with (and MSU has on #3) 1. UM's administration provides MUCH less institutional funding to athletics than MSU's administration does. Dennison is able to do that because UM's athletic department is very good at fund-rai...

Re: Montana Gizzlies - More wins then ANY TEAM in the Nation
I have to shake my head reading this. I am a Griz fan, but there is no way anyone other than App State is considered the best team of this decade. Period. Griz have won a lot of games, but you can't argue with a 3-peat, and a shot again this year.

Re: Road Trip!
If you get Allegiant to Las Vegas, check into a flight there, and then to Missoula.
Alternatively, look into Spokane and then catching a ride with a Griz fan for the game, or renting a car.

I have watched 4-5 games this year. The kid is a stud. He won't be in Missoula very long.

Re: Panther Scholarship Club - What does your school have?
Montana's GSA will contribute over 1.3M for scholarships this year. The UM athletic department generates over 70% of it's funding, with less than 30% coming from institutional funding. The Big Sky Conference's stated "goal" for member schools is 50/50. And UM does this without a lot of the...

Re: Why did Montana change their colors?
The change was due to the President, Dennison. Hogan was against it, but it was his job to implement it. He thought it was a huge mistake to change right after we had just won a national championship, and because the colors were so unique.
