Re: Sun Belt 2019 Thread

Things got a bit close for comfort but we left with the win. Nice to have some bragging rights over both fanbases.

If there's a viable Republican challenger I'll vote for them

Or independent.

Or Democrat.

Re: 2019 Call Your Shot/Check in

Somewhere between 8-4 and 10-2.

I think UNC Tarheel game is definitely winnable as is possibly the U So.Carolina game. Playing @ Troy makes me a bit nervous, but having GaSo in Boone helps. Loads of returning talent, just an untested new coaching staff is the biggest wild card for me.

Re: App webcam on construction

Not sure I like the parking deck idea, but once again they didn't consult me. Progress? I've got a friend who lives just above the stadium and this will drive him batshit. He used to go down and ask for quiet during the morning session of two a days. Where did you live? I was in East, which I...

App webcam on construction

Well, finally you'll have to go back to making fun of us for our affinity for livestock again since the track is finally coming up at KBS. Several new dorms are going in where the stadium lot was and they're building a huge parking deck to accomodate most if not all of the cars before. It's really g...

Re: The Iran War

I found it interesting that the US drone being shot down the US is saying "it wasn't over Iranian territory" yet we're afraid that the wreckage will be recovered and the Iranians will be able to reverse engineer our tech? Seems like it might have landed on dry land......just speculating.

The parents of Riley Howell, one of the UNC-C kids shot and killed this week were high school classmates with my brother. Riley apparently tackled the shooter as he was getting shot and managed to save some lives by giving others time to escape.

Long Range Toddy - 30-1
Spinoff - 30-1
Country House - 30-1
Gray Magician - 50-1
Master Fencer - 50-1

Alleged sexual assault as well. I was being sarcastic. The guy was hailed as a hero when he was sticking it to Chimpitler McCheneyburton by releasing classified stuff, but releasing not-classified stuff to go after Hillary Clinton makes him a villain. https://www.theonion.com/cackling-julian-assang...

I'm working my way through the Jack Reacher series. I'm on book 10 of 24 but I'm banging out a book a month and they're all 400 pagers. I read all the Vince Flynn and Brad Thor books and moved to Lee Childs and his Reacher series. I read a few chapters at lunch most days.

Try a little experiment - watch 30 minutes of the Today show or NBC Nightly news and see how many "racist" or "sexist" stories there are any given broadcast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhu7iHD9UvY This thread reminds me of this segment I saw on CBS Sunday morning and Spike L...

Those fuckers will get here, vote in Democrats who will raise taxes and force the red staters to flee to the formerly blue states. Besides - we have biscuits and gravy! That's why we move so slow.
