Democrats care more about cabinet diversity than competency (as if thinking people didn't already know that)...honestly not much different than Trump putting sycophants and yes men in his cabinet.

Re: Trump Impeachment Part Duex
What could be more important than an empty, finger-wagging gesture to a president who has just over a week left in office?
Certainly not trying to win vaccination race or cyber security concern.

Re: THIS IS AMERICA
I think there are definite similarities so comparisons are valid. The fools game is trying to justify your side's because the other side did it first/worse. Violent protesting, rioting and looting are wrong no matter who is doing it and why. No. This is different. There have been many instances of ...

What would you impeach him for? "He's a doodie head and we don't like him!"
Not like you can get enough votes for a conviction in the senate in the first place.

BTW I've seen plenty of "whataboutism" with respect to what happened yesterday. There is no comparison. If you've been doing that, just stop. No, this is not like things like the Black Lives Matter protests. This was an assault on our seat of government. Nothing like this has happened in ...

16-year-old girl shot and killed in the capitol.
So is this where we resume protesting police brutality or does that only count for grown-ass men like Jacob Blake who threaten police with a knife?

I wonder how many "Boycott the Election" folks ended up boycotting and if it was enough to give Ossoff the win. Grand strategery. I'll say it even though it'll put me in the minority of Purdue and Loeffler voters...Mitch McConnell messed up by not just going with the $2000 stimulus checks...

Re: 2020 General Election
Some notes about the Georgia runoff. I think Purdue will beat Ossoff by at least a point but the Loeffler-Warnock race is more unclear. Loeffler was appointed by the governor and has never really had a to fight for a seat in congress, and it shows. She's just too robotic and from what I've seen peo...

If any threatening right-wing populist or Trumpist emerges in the primaries, the GOP will spend unprecedented money trying to make sure so ho-hum guy like Marco Rubio wins.

I'm not an advocate for the idea undefeated G5s must get in over not-undefeated P5s. That said, Iowa State being over Coastal in the CFP rankings is a joke. The Big 12 went 0-3 against the Sun Belt. IMO if you're a P5 and you do that you forfeit any NY6 at large bid.

There are Republicans that oppose Trump because of who he is, and there are others who are pissed off they didn't get the consummate defeat of the GOP they wanted that might allow neocons and globalists to regain power in the GOP.

Re: Who Gives & Who Takes: The Government Tit
What's shocking about it? A lot of rich people live in the Northeast, so thanks to a progressive tax structure they pay more in taxes. Places that have a lot of federal government activity (Virginia and Maryland for instance, but also a lot of places down South where we have a fair amount of milita...

Watching the Senate debate on GPTV between Kelly Loeffler and Raphael Warnock. God Loeffler is so robotic and has used 2 or 3 phrases like 100 times. I'll probably still have to vote for her, though.
