Re: 2014 CAA Predictions!!!

Your nuts if you think TU will finish 7-1. Maine is never good 2 seasons in a row. JMU will probably lose around 4 games, but not what you have. -Will be a HUGE difference from playing at home a UNCC team in its 1st season of football, with 2 scholly classes and about 55 on scholly, to playing on t...

Re: UD (2-1/0-0) @ JMU (2-2/0-1): Clash of the has beens

Do they still throw streamers at JMU or have they realized the high level of gayness it exhibits? I always thought they'd travel further if you tied one end around a beer can. :coffee: :coffee: It will be raining streamers so thick it will block out the sun.. If I remember the quote from "300&...

2014 CAA Predictions!!!

After looking over every team's schedule, making a few wild guesses, and some clearly bias choices, the following is what I have to offer. I don't believe any of the teams in the CAA will win their FBS game. I would like to predict Nova going 11 - 0 in FCS competition, but due to injuries, weather, ...

Re: New CAA QBs

Thanks for the feedback. Not so sure, jstclmet, about where you're putting DeMarco. Think I'd want to compare him to the latter guys you mentioned. The thread title is "New CAA QB's", that's why I included Demarco with the first group. He and his team will be playing in the CAA for the fi...

Re: New CAA QBs

Depends on if you're ranking just the athlete, or the team he's on. Based on pure playing experience, I'd think you have to rank Decker (UNH) 1st, followed by Thorpe (JMU), Sasek (UD), then Thomas (Nova). However, shouldn't UMass, Towson and ODU's QB be in this conversation too?? Which QB's team wil...

And yet you beat Tech. Regardless of the circumstances, that easily qualifies as the FCS win of the year - what an amazing game... Credit goes to that surprise pistol offense we pulled out for that game after being overly vanilla in our opener. We just had them on their heels...once that was on tap...

CAA Meetings - Who Stays, Who Goes......

Nobody knows what changes will occur on the college football landscape in the coming years. Conferences in the Football Bowl Subdivision continue to realign to create a better power base, while some Football Championship Subdivision programs are intent on joining the party. For now, the University ...

CAA TODAY: Where Blue Hens Soar And Eagles Dare

The playoffs in any sport have a life unto themselves. But there is something a little more special about semifinal games. Whether it’s the ALCS/NLCS, the AFC/NFC championship games, the eastern/western conference NBA semi-finals, the NCAA final four semi’s, or the semi-finals in the FCS playoffs, ...

CAA TODAY: Bonus Playoff Coverage

While there were no CAA teams playing in the opening weekend of the FCS playoffs, I'll briefly discuss the four games and what, if any, impact would the winners have on CAA teams. One thing I failed to mention in last week’s column was that Towson was 0-8 in the CAA, but 1-10 overall in 2010. Towso...
