It would be interesting this year if the NHL is won by an American team and the NBA is won by a Canadian team.

Re: 2018-19 NBA Basketball Thread

Toronto is going to win it's first NBA title, if Klay and KD don't come back, and that might not even save the Warriors. If Toronto does win it, it will set up an interesting offseason. By the start of next season Houston, Denver and Portland may all find themselves closer to a Finals appearance th...

EWU (hell, most of the FCS) would kill for a game that was as hyped as the Brawl... Doesn't matter if both teams suck, still the game of the year in the FCS. There are only MAYBE 3-4 FCS rivalries that have fan watch parties all over the country. Fan watch parties all over the country? How many non...

Rarely? I don't think they're scheduled to play a single game there in 2019 and I get the feeling they've given up on the location. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk I would never say never, but it is beginning to look that way. When the demise of the MLS happens, we all can look at it from MAX an...

Blazers and their FCS backcourt got pounded by the Warriors in Game 1 last night. Neither Lillard nor McCollum got anything going.

Blazers move on thanks to CJ McCollum's (Lehigh) big game. The FCS backcourt of Lillard and McCollum move on to face the Warriors.

First 4OT game in the playoffs since 1953, Blazers outlast Denver, 140-137. Big story is the minutes played. Jokic logged 65 minutes, McCollum tallied 60. Teams meet again Sunday, 4pm PDT.

I, for one, was very disappointed in the showing of both the Portland State women's team and the Montana men's team in the tournament. Going in to the conference tournament, the top four of the women's side were pretty equal, while the Griz men's team looked to be more superior than anyone else in t...

Portland State gets the #15 seed and will play Oregon in Eugene on Friday.

Interesting, the Lady Viks are two wins away from hosting the regional, scheduled to play at the Moda Center in Portland next weekend. :thumb:

Ducks rumored to be 2 seed, maybe a 3. Beavs heard they are a 3. PSU wins, they could possibly go either place. If EWU wins, they probably are going to Eugene as a 15. How could they know? Rumor is that the winner is going to either Eugene or Corvallis first round. That would make sense, especially since the Oregons should be in the 2-4 seed range. There is a clause in Lillard's contract that specifically says Portland State cannot eliminate Weber from the conference tournament as long as he is a Blazer.
