Re: The SWAC

That's what happens when you… a) don't have good teams. b) play almost every non-conference game on the road. Bingo! The league is a far cry from the early to mid 90's when the teams had talent. I remember Trey Johnson 6-5 SG from, JSU in '07 he was among the nation's leading scorers, averaging 26....

1. That catch wasn't a catch. After he hit the ground the ball moved. It was only a slight movement but it moved. By rule the ball can't moved....oh and there is the fact the ball hit the ground as well. 2. Michigan went to ADIDAS because...well I don't know the full reason but ADIDAS offered more ...

FWIW here is a photo of the no-catch in OT. You can see the way the ball in angled there is no way the ball isn't going to hit the ground (which it did), or not move when it hits the ground (which it did) http://www.annarbor.com/assets_c/2012/01/SugarBowl_CoaleCatch-thumb-590x391-98977.jpg From thi...

Not a very glitzy transfer, but will reserve judgement until we seem him throw in the spring. :coffee: Don't need glitz, just need him to be good. Flacco didn't come to UD with tons of press clippings and accolades and that turned out okay. Nobody was floored that we got Andy Hall in '02 and that t...

You do realize that Veldman is from the Twin Cities metro and was a finalist for Mr Football. In no world would he have ever been turned into an OL, he wasn't even a great blocker until this year. If he wouldn't have had a number of injury issues he probably would be a legit NFL prospect, even so h...

Re: Packers - Matt Flynn

When the starting QB plays at an all world level, and then the back-up QB comes in and plays at the same level, you have to consider that the system and the surrounding cast (offesive line, in particular) may be contributing greatly to the success of the QB. You're going to credit Green Bay's offen...
