Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

I guess I'm happy to live in a state that really has no problems with Covid. But it does make it seem like it's way overblown. 2.5% of our population have tested positive. I guess that's why I literally don't know a single person first hand in MD who has had it. :suspicious:

Re: 2020 General Election

I haven't followed that race too closely, but didn't the R vote get split between two R's and that's the only reason it's going to a runoff? Seems like the R should win a head to head race. There are two Senate races that are going to runoff in GA. One was split, one was not. Wow, last I saw Purdue...

Re: 2020 General Election

Her organizing in Georgia has paid huge dividends. And, could possibly give the Senate to Democrats in January. I haven't followed that race too closely, but didn't the R vote get split between two R's and that's the only reason it's going to a runoff? Seems like the R should win a head to head race.

I admit that voter intimidation, frauds and suppression occurs. I'm not convinced its enough to make a difference.
Impossible to say. With some races coming down to 20,000 or fewer votes...

It could be a wash where both sides have some of each kind, but we'll never really know.

FTR, I've voted NO every time gambling comes up. Eh, I'm fine with gambling. I'm generally fine with adults doing whatever they want to do as adults barring direct harm to others. Certainly not a libertarian, but I can understand their viewpoint for sure. My problem is I've been to casinos. The fol...

:suspicious: You're smarter than this Sticky. What? I don't instantly believe in nefarious forces at work just because my horse is losing the race. The complaint isn't voters taking advantage of casting their ballots via mail. That's what I'm referring to. There may or may not be a lot of fraud, bu...

Isn't this the same man who was specifically telling his base to not use mail-in ballots? That's the second time today I've seen something like this. Maybe he said show up, but I don't recall him ever telling his folks to not use mail in. He said he was against them because it's ripe for fraud. It ...

Not my tomorrow. We've taken down 1000 trees on our golf course. FUCK THE KIDS!  In fairness, the club planted all those trees to begin with. Hey, I'm a centrist, I agree, people I'd vote for get primaried out all the time in favor of the rabid partisans. Sure is doing wonders on the national stage for us. It’s not the ‘rabid partisans’ fault. Its the lazy masses fault who don’t bother to vote in primaries. The ‘rabid partisans’ a...

Noticed on CNN that they have called WI for Biden, but have not called AZ for Biden. That’s odd. https://www.foxnews.com/elections/2020/general-results Fox has both. Fox called Arizona really early last night. They even questioned their decision desk guy a couple times asking how they could be sure.

If they can stay Republican long enough to not get primaried. There are Democrats that can wrap themselves in the flag without a problem or primary threat like Duckworth. Agreed, taking court packing off the agenda is a huge win for government - we risked really starting a vicious spiral we'd never get out of.
