But you're not irrelevant, if it wasn't for you there wouldn't be an egriz, and if there wasn't an egriz there wouldn't be countless hours of entertaining reading material...Montana is more important to the conference than you think. Re: 1R - UIW @ Montana St.

Im taking the Bobcats in this one, and although they wont likely make it out of the 2nd round, there is no downside to playoff experience and extra practice time to get you prepared for the next season.

Re: Playoff Field

every team is going to bring their A game. There are always blowouts in the playoffs. Last year in the first round... Stony Brook 59 - Lehigh 29 Northern Iowa 46 - Monmouth 7 San Diego 41 - Northern Arizona 10 Usually, but those are usually games featuring Power FCS conf teams vs not power FCS team...

Re: Playoff Field

Dude, it’s the playoffs. We averaged 45 in the regular season. Nicholls has a good defense and Davis or UNI will tighten things up. Sweet, Nicholls gave up 21 to Incarnate Word, tell me EWU wouldn't double or triple that score against Nicholls. Eastern should double that up with the offense t...

Re: Week 12 - Conference by Conference Breakdown

I look forward every week for your breakdowns. It is much appreciated and well thought out. :thumb: That said, while the NAU win was surprising, I would have maybe done a collective "surprising result" for the Big Sky with this. Three of the four major rivalry games, the Dam Cup, the Braw...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

I dont really care what the coaches think. The only thing I care about is the 14-6 final score. And like I said If Weber has to go through Cheney...Big deal, we can win there. The coaches poll is dumpster fire for sure but it’s used by the committee. :ohno: Weber and EWU are super close. Weber shut...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

Weber beat Gage Gubrud in Cheney last year. Him not playing this year is not a good enough excuse. And of course in hanging my hat on that win. What with all the Eastern Washington Chest Thumping thats been going on for the last few weeks it must've been a damn good win. It'll be a shame if Eastern...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

Courtesy of the Weber State defense, something some Eagles fans seem to conveniently forget. And technically the loss to Weber was EB3's 3rd start since EB3 started last year's contest with North Dakota after Gubrud was suspended after getting wasted and arrested after the loss to Weber last year. ...

EWU had a one-dimensional offense that day. Courtesy of the Weber State defense, something some Eagles fans seem to conveniently forget. Re: Big Sky Predictions 11-17

Rivalry week in the Big Sky and also the last weekend in conference play. The talk is how many teams will go to the playoffs. This week is make or break for many teams. Heading in to the last week I am sitting at 63-21. Even a perfect week (tough to do during rivalry week) I'll still fall short of ...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

I'm more about wins over quality teams than losses... as long as there aren't several of them. Everyone is allowed to lay an egg once a year. Agreed. It depends on whether we're talking about what should happen or what we think the committee will do which is anyone's guess. EWU, Weber, and SDSU hav...

Re: Big Sky Power Rankings 10-29

Now with Gubrud out for the season Weber should be ahead of Eastern. With Gubrud, i could concede that Eastern could be higher, but not without him. Idaho State seems high to me, i do think they are top 5 but "2" seems high. At least right now. I need more convincing. (Not that they are g...

I don't like the Dartmouth helmet a little bit. That's certainly an eye of the beholder kind of thing. Princeton, sure, Dartmouth, not so much. I get that. I like it because of it's simplicity and uniqueness. ( I would prefer the "D" in the back rather than the front, though ). Is that wh...
