Re: Miscellaneous news items that don't warrant their own thread

Tripz, your argument collapses of its own weight in the second paragraph of your JSO-length screed. In our republican form of government, a higher number of elected representatives just creates smaller representative districts. The degree of “representation” of each person remains the same. You say...

Let me guess: the cap on deductions of state and local taxes.

Gonna leave the top spot on your ballot blank again, Hen?
Most likely. The only race for which my vote matters is Gov.

Re: How Trump Wins

And the way Biden wins is there are enough dead people in the United States to allow him to win. Now you know that is not true. If you're honest with yourself you know the majority of the living citizens in the United States do not want Trump to be President. You know very well that if every legall...

They knocked it off the boys head. Also tore up their signs. I'm not saying that they didn't knock it off the kid's head. But it doesn't show up in the video. You can't tell what's going on. They did tear up signage. You can see that. Why are you fighting this so hard? The bitches got arrested, and...

Re: 2020 Democratic Convention

Biden’s net favorability rating among registered voters went up 5 points after the convention(ABC News/Ipsos). That’s an important metric. His overall lead over Trump remains solid. When people talk about post convention bounces, they are generally referring to the head to head polls. Thank you for...

Re: 2020 Democratic Convention

I heard that Biden got +5. That’s the rule post-Convention for either party. SG, if you want to be an opinion leader on here, do your homework. You heard wrong. RCR average 8/16 (day before donk convention started) Biden +7.7. Today Biden +7.6. The only poll that has been done entirely post convent...

Re: 2020 Republican Convention

Guess I’ll keep my 2012/2016/2020 no-convention-minutes-watched streak intact. Last convention I watched more than the nominee speech was the 80 Democratic Convention (Teddy vs Jimmy). And I didn't watch any of the 2012,2016 or 2020 conventions. and no plans to watch the Trump Family Grift Show. I ...

If Biden wins (remember he wouldn’t be running the show, or around for long. The left will be running things): -Your wallet will be lighter (higher taxes, energy costs, more govt regs). -You’ll be effected by single payer (taking steps towards it). I got news for you BDK, my wallet got a little lig...

Re: 2020 Democratic Convention

If nobody's gotten back to this yet: Joe Biden's speech was live. I heard Brian Stelter say there were dozens of reporters in the room to verify that. The context was that he said Rush Limbaugh questioned whether it was live and Stelter exclaimed "There were dozens of reporters in the room!" So I G...

While I agree with you on bringing your 7 yr old to a rally, this is exactly why Trump supporters don't identify in polling. TDS. Oh...and by the way...there is such a thing as "Trump Derangement Syndrome." But it describes a characteristic of Trump supporters; not Trump opponents. WRONG(E)!
