Re: WAC Has its eye on 5 or 6 FCS Teams

As a real note too this: Pat Hill DID say he sees UC Davis, Sac St., and Cal Poly as future WAC members. I believe he was hoping to god that Fresno was in the MWC by then :? If the WAC is smart they'll take at least 2 if not 4 to get to 12. If there are 4 willing west of the Miss. Would it be smart...

Based on the desperation of keeping conferences afloat... I'm going to guess: a pulse.

finally. WAC is on the clock. Montana, Texas St., Sacramento St. and anyone else west of the Miss. from the FCS are in play Any idea when the WAC might make an announcement? I thought I read somewhere that the WAC Presidents have their annual meeting this week. I'm not sure if it was an old article...

Derek Fisher.

And I'm not a big NBA fan but where did this ridiculous replay rule come from? I mean the ability to challenge anything under 2 minutes without the risk of losing a timeout?

Re: NDSU and the WAC

Have to agree. I doubt the WAC will need to stoop to teams that win one of three in FCS and don't draw. The WAC will have better options. Sure, the CA boys want their bus league, but they don't have all the votes. I think it will all depend on how badly the WAC gets raided. That in turn will determ...

Re: NDSU and the WAC

The way things are going now the conference most likely to not exist is the B12 minus 6 then another 2 and would be left with 4. The question is A-who wants to move up from FCS? Texas St. is the only 100% yes now. B-Who can afford it? C-Who has the best facilities for the WAC? Montana needs to add ...

Re: UC-Davis QB Denham to leave

While a decent QB, Denham has never really lived up to UC Davis expectations which always feels they need a really great QB to make up for continuing long-term weaknesses in the running game. Heyworth, Denham's apparent replacement has the potential to be a great QB. Plus we have an experienced bac...

Re: UC-Davis QB Denham to leave

This will benefit Sac State the most. I'm not sure how, and I'll ponder this for a while, but somehow this will translate into Sac State winning the Big Sky and beating Liberty in the NC game. :thumb:  We beat “the farm extension” the last two years when they had Denham, so I don’t really thin...

Re: UC-Davis QB Denham to leave

This is huge for all the Great West Conference teams but especially the Aggies. Losing their top QB could and probably will hamstring them in the offensive department while everyone else in the conference has one less threat to worry about now. It will be interesting to see how much this will hurt ...
