Re: Big Sky Basketball, 2019-20

Being that we clinched #4, maybe we can do some "load management" against Sac State.

Naw, it'd be better to go in the tournament on a 6-game win streak. :thumb:

Interesting that Portland State has now played 8 conference games and some teams have only played 6. I guess that has to do with us not having a travel partner.

Re: Northern Colorado Fires Earnest Collins

A somewhat splashy hire from a program that has nothing (else) to lose. They get an "A" for effort at least. So I guess are thoughts that UNC should have went with a proven D2 coach or something? Any qualified candidates known that were interested in the gig? It's a splashy hire of an NFL name, to ...

Can't help but think what might have been if he would have told his buddy Stan Brock no when he was offered the OC job at Army. At the time, he had Portland State on the verge of being a power in FCS. Both he and PSU never got back to that point, and both deserved better.

Fair point, but by that logic we should be atop your list. :D First pencil, I actually had Sac State 1st and Weber 2nd, but then I couldn't overlook the head to head between the two in Sacramento that Weber won.
