Re: 2020 Schedules

I don't know how reputable this is (http://www.fbsschedules.com), but they show THIS as Sac's schedule next year (all times/TB TBA). I'm not thrilled with two FBS's AND an entire MONTH outside Hornet Stadium to open the season. I also don't like having a D-II, either, but Dixie IS #10 in Super Regi...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 13

Final week of the season and I am at 78-19 for the year. Even if it has been a ho-hum year for the Viks, I am having one of my better years at picking the games. I still do not have a perfect weekend and this is my last try at it. CP at UNC---The Mustangs have been right there at the end in almost e...

Re: Big Sky Quad Shot: Week 12

Heading in to the last weekend of the season and the conference looks good to get four teams in the playoffs. Home field has shown to be quite the advantage as the home teams seem to have a good shot at winning every week regardless of the matchups. One more week and on top of that, rivalry week, an...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 12

I'm currently at 74-16 with two weeks left to go, but still looking for a perfect weekend. Here's my attempt at perfection this week. No Portland State, maybe that will help. EWU at CP---Has the Eagle defense finally arrived or was it just last week's opponent? Either way, it shouldn't matter again...

Melo signing with Blazers

Non-guaranteed contract to give the injury-riddled Blazers some help in the frontcourt.

Big Sky Power Rankings 11-11

Happy Veterans Day to all our veterans out there and thank you for your service. Veterans Day on the calendar usually means we are getting into the thick of things in the conference races and the Big Sky is no exception. Two weeks left and the title has come down to basically three teams. Any one of...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 11

After the dismal weekend, I am still looking good at 69-15 for the year. I'm still chasing that elusive perfect weekend. Here's hoping this may be the weekend for it, especially after last week. EWU at ISU---At one point during the season, the Bengals were really good at home and really bad on the ...

Re: Big Sky Basketball, 2019-20

Viks and lady Viks both looked good in the face of lesser opponents. Puget Sound men and Multnomah women are not going to strike fear in any DI team. Women play at Boise on Friday in the WNIT preseason tournament while the men play at Indiana on Saturday. Those two games should be a better indicator...

Big Sky Power Rankings 11-4

The picture is getting clearer now in the Big Sky. Probably not what we expected but things are taking shape and with it being November now, it is about time. A good tussle between the top two teams gave us a great showing by both. On top of that, Montana took a step of returning to the conference e...

Re: 2019-2020 Philadelphia 76'ers Thread

Helped by the fact that the Blazers did not have any big men up front. Then Simmons takes Hood out in the 4th quarter. Bully ball. The Sixers are like the Pistons of old. Get used to it. And please, none of the Blazers big men are any good anyway. Sixers did this without Embiid, who is in fact pret...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 10

Just make sure all your potential recruits from Portland are there on your sideline again. We don't want them to miss anything. :D Yup, just like the last time they played in Hillsboro. ;) Barnum has beaten the Griz in Portland and in Missoula. This is the trifecta. Icing on the cake.

Big Sky Power Rankings 10-28

November is on the horizon and time is running out for teams still jockeying around, trying to make the playoffs. Still a lot to be decided in the conference as we get to the stretch run. Some great games still to play as well that will determine the Big Sky representatives in the playoffs. Here are...

62-10 so far this season. The way the season has gone, it seems just pick the home team and see what happens. This weekend there are some games that may test that theory. Here is my quest for that elusive perfect Saturday. EWU at UM---The Eagles had an extra week to prepare and the Grizzlies' quart...
