Re: January 6 - How much do you care?
If it had been a democrat, you’d be waiting in the gallery to watch the hearings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Where are the prime time hearings on the 2020 summer of riots, looting, burning and the destruction of personal property? Did those try to stop an election from being ratified? Those...

Re: January 6 - How much do you care?
Making sh!t up about relevant topics isn't news. January 6 was and is just as newsworthy as those topics . Trumpanzees would like to see it disappear from the headlines because it scares them. Wrong- those topics are greatly effecting most Americans in. negative way in their everyday lives. Jan 6 i...

Re: Would Andy Be Better Off If We Had Universal Health Care?
It's not that simple. You can't just look at a problem and think that a fix won't cause problems elsewhere. There are a lot of people in the healthcare field that are willing to "treat" people with things they don't really need so that they can profit from it. Healthcare is not an exact s...

Re: Would Andy Be Better Off If We Had Universal Health Care?
Bob Kidd is right. The concept of insurance is about where the good idea stops...after that it's a for profit venture that does everything in its power to make sure it does NOT deliver on the service in which its been engaged. :coffee: They all are very much like in the kids movie, 'The Incredibles...

Re: Would Andy Be Better Off If We Had Universal Health Care?
I've never understood people's love affair with their insurance company. It's even crazier that people will get fighting mad to defend them. My dad did this with me once and screamed that the alternative is socialism! You pay them every month, you are their customer. In return for being a loyal cus...

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19
You know, growing up we always had tea in the house. I don't really drink it anymore. I honestly drink water 90% of the time. For me it isn't the caffeine...it's the carbonation. I thought I would miss the carbonation too, so I went with those flavored seltzers for awhile, but other than the ...

:thumb: You're right - especially on the restaurants. And I've been on that path. Soda is my biggest challenge. I've cut most booze out of my diet and have always eaten a more vegetable/seafood based diet than anything else. Fast food is a killer though - it's a true addiction. I really need to ste...

Right? Now i have to figure out how to keep it off. I tried going for a walk this morning but about 2 miles from the house I began to get short of breath. I might've overdone it...2 miles is nothing Portion control Stop frozen foods Stop fast food Stop sodas Stop restaurant food All with mino...

Toughed it out at home. MrsCCU actually got the anti-viral but had a violent reaction about 10 minutes after taking the first dose and discontinued use. I took DayQuil and NyQuil while drinking plenty of fluids - treated it like a normal cold. Well, as stated. Glad to hear you're on the mend. Sorry...

We’ve posted about those refineries- they were closing down regardless of who was at 1600 Penn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Biden's policies and stance did not help matters. Oh certainly not. Also 5 major refineries closed 2021. Biden’s election campaign rhetoric, 1st week EO’s, and actions since have played a major part in that. https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/oil-refineries-shutter-amid-hostile-fossil-fuel-policies-pain-at-the-pump We’ve posted about those refineries- they were c...

It’s great that a few Sunbelt teams are in it. Good luck, GSU. Coastal fell to UVA yesterday and has an elimination game coming up. I’m hoping Coppin State isn’t a problem.

Re: Common Sense Gun Control
Yes Politicians and teachers put those kids in danger every day of thier school lives. They took away their right to life by making them potential victims before the shooter ever showed up That’s quite the statement. You value a gun over the life of your own family. Common Sense Gun Control
My right to live is protected by my gun of choice. I won't be a victim neither will my family. The good news is we avoid places that have high probabilitys of violence like schools, hospitals and malls. Soft targets kill. That’s a nice sentiment but if 12 guys disarmed you, I’m confident you’ll beg...

Re: Common Sense Gun Control
The right to own a firearm is absolutely above another one's right to live. My firearm will never kill anyone unless they are projecting evil on me or my family. It's not the gun and if you don't like it get armed and quit being a victim Sorry. Nothing is greater than the right to live. You’re tell...

Re: Political memes, Posters, Funny Pics, Etc.
I agree. I don't think the Taliban even came into existence until the early to mid 90's. Reagan was long gone from the White House and in full Alzehmeirs by then. Carter, Reagan, and Bush #1 supplied arms and aid to the mujahideen, but they weren't our enemy and we didn't pull out of their country ...
